I the rice was ok as well, different than the regular riceand peas. The steamed cabbage was mushy, water, with huge pieces from the middle of the cabbage and no flavor at all; it tasted like nothing. Overall the meal was just ok. "

"I was disappointed with my meal overall. The Pernil / Roast Pork and Tostones were both very dry, and the Jugo de Mango was so tart that it was difficult to enjoy. I also expected more from the Chicken Soup / Sopa de Pollo—it contained one small potato and didn’t feel very hearty.
On a positive note, the Bistec Encebollado / Carmelized Onion Steak was delicious and full of flavor. The rice and beans were also very good, and the Maduros were absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the dry meats and disappointing soup overshadowed the meal, so I don’t think I’ll be returning."
