"This is one of the ONLY restaurants I will eat at. BEST burgers. Quality food, and they use real fat to fry instead of gross seed oils. I've been eating at Flip since my daughter was born in 2014 when I was starving all of time and lived right down the street from the Chagrin location. I've never had anything I don't like from Flip. Sure I understand I could've gone and eaten in the restaurant where I could've said something rather than order online or what not but we have a 1 year old and that wasn't in the cards for these tired parents tonight. I love Barrio, go all the time, and even have friends that request going whenever they come to visit us here in Ohio. Never do we DoorDash it either but it sounded good and didn't think DoorDashing it would be any different than in person.
Tonight my order was missing two queso dips and a small salsa, no big deal ordered a refund. What got me here to review was the quality of the tacos...there was next to nothing on these tacos. Like I'm talking 6-7 1/16 of an inch sized cubes of tofu on my wife's tacos with a small dash of cheese to pair with it. Mine weren't much better with my half a teaspoon of ground beef and sprinkle of toppings.
Now i have worked in restaurants for years and no matter how busy we ever were in the kitchen, i would have never sent out something that was not up to quality and in today's society with the inflated prices on everything i expect to at least get a taco that's decently filled and not something that has a few small pieces of meat and a small sprinkle of toppings.
Skimming through the reviews, I saw pictures of tacos as weak as the ones we received tonight and only after seeing it looks to be a repetitive theme for this location did I feel a review would actually be warranted. This whole experience has me thinking I should be checking reviews more.
I'm only sorry i didn't take pictures of the other tacos but the ones here are the tofu which we had to spread the shell pretty wide to find the tofu."

Ribs are great- bourbon bbq. Again flavor is consistent. A not too sweet or overly sauced. Meat comes right off the bone.- only once did I find them to be overcooked -on the really dried out side. I think it was because it was at the end of dinner rush, huge crowd that night. Even though it was packed and busy the manager was kind enough to actually talk with me-looked at the ribs and agreed not to its normal standards. And offered a different entree for same price etc. it's nice that the staff there really cares about the food quality and customer satisfaction.
We also always order (even if not eating dinners) the Mac Balls - tots are amazing!!! Have never been disappointed with the giant pretzel with beer cheese.

The sides are pretty bland though. The Mac n cheese was miserably bad. Not for me but, I can see others liking it. the regular was very tart. The sauces are not that great in my opinion. The cornbread is tasty though as it has a sugary top layer which cuts the saltiness of everything else.
