"My first Satay. Baby chicken kabobs with a peanut (?) sauce on the side. Not bad but pricy for the serving. The croissant pudding was ok. Small serving for the price. Items on the menu sound really good but pricy and if todays order is an example,not a good value. But I'll order again for 2nd impression."

"Overall, still good Thai. The Penang Curry was amazing and delicious as always. This is third time I've had the Tom Yum soup and this time it was bland and did not have that signature strong lemongrass and chili flavor. Wife was disappointed in her Tom Kha this time as well. Previously we have loved everything. We have ordered take out and eaten at restaurant in person. Usually food is top tier Thai. Today, the soups disappointed."

"424 Egg Foo Yong was flavorless, however, it passes my three qualifications for good food...tasty, temperature and texture. All components were cooked to perfection and the food remained hot to warm throughout the course. Even lacking flavor, the basic elements were very good. The portion size was far more than I could tackle making it well worth the money. When I visit this area again, I will definitely be dining from Sampan. From me you get 4½ kitty paws. Well done!!"
