I'm not certain of I ordered on a bad day but, my food has always been piping hot when I got it home (I live minutes from the restaraunt). I was also disappointed in the portions. In the past, I had enough food for two servings. However, not today. Seems like everywhere else; prices go up and portions go down. Today, I ordered the chicken shawarma requesting no lettuce and no tomatoes. This is what I received - a soggy pita with TWO pieces of chicken. TWO. Beyond egregious, bordering on offensive. I've ordered this menu item 34 times because I crave it. But only about 50% of the time were the portions reasonable. The managers need to implement better quality control measures. Joke's on me for giving so much benefit of doubt.
But save yourself the time and trouble and just go elsewhere. I recommend Mika's Greek on Thomas or Nino's Greek on 16th St -- both are consistently leaps and bounds better in quality and quantity for the price than Nick's. "

"Mozzarella Sticks were good except the "marinara" was a thick, unseasoned tomato paste, not marinara by any means.
They did not honor the selections on the The Italian Job Sandwich or the The Traditional Supreme Sandwich. One had onions, lettuce,and tomato which were requested to be removed. The other had a flavorless tomato sauce that was requested to be removed and overshadowed what might could have been a decent sandwich. Both needed more cheese which was almost non-existent.
The large size of the The Traditional Supreme Sandwich was huge with a lot of meat."
