"NEW Pancake Flight BreakFEAST® was to die for and the amount of food for the value was intense. Nothing beats the T-Bone steak breakfast according to my son who said it perfectly replaced the protein and carbs after his workout. Overall another tasty, fresh and delicious breakfast that I have been ordering again and again. "
"They could be a little more generous with the amount of toast considering I could buy a whole loaf of bread for the same price as the single small peice of toast they serve! Also the bacon is not the best and almost always seems stale. "

"My delivery order from House of Pies was delicious! It really satisfied my craving for home cooking. The chopped steak was perfectly cooked & seasoned, the mashed potatoes and brown gravy were great. The mixed veggies could have used more variety ,they were mainly carrots. The 3 Mini pies were a great deal , I got the Mini Chocolate cream pie ( which was amazing) , Mini Cherry Pie , & A Mini Coconut Cream pie ."
"It was all amazing, the portions were massive for what we paid, and it was all hot and fresh. We will absolutely be ordering here again. The chicken fried Chicken Fried Chicken & Eggs was fantastic, the chicken was tender and massive. The Texan Omelette was huge too, it was a great texture and the jalapeños weren't overbearing. "

"Food was good, however I did not receive my sides and wasn't able to reach customer service"
"The sandwiches' meat is dry and the bread was on the soggy side. The "artisan bread" is Texas Toast. There is hardly any cheese on the sandwiches. Meat was tough to chew. Hardly any fries or onion rings. The fries were pretty much raw. It lacked flavor. Needed to add salt to give it flavor. The only positives is the packaging was cute and they did provide utensils and sauces. I would never order this again. It is not worth the cost. Even Denny's could have done better."

Fried Cheese is under cooked too. Fried Pickle Chips are good though and the ranch has a good taste to it, they just charge way too much for the portion size. "I was a little disappointed with the size to price ratio and the taste was a little less than what I expected but was still good."
"Very disappointing, this location is terrible compared to the Pearland location. First time ordering from here and everything was so bad. Sad because we left a rave review for the Pearland spot. The chocolate pastry had barely any chocolate in it at all, for over 6 dollar you would think they would make it loaded, the other location gives you way more and tasted like we were just eating plain bread. The fruit they use here is so bad, again the other location gives the best fruit at peak flavor and ripeness, this one however had very poor fruit, all the strawberries were still green, like how does a self respecting French pastry bakery put junk like that out to customers and for the exorbitant fees they charge too? An almost 80 dollar order for a few pastries and coffee and almost all of it was not good and pathetic, the other location was always great and we ordered a few times a month but this place we will never order from again.
The only decent items were the Matcha Latte and the coffee croissant everything else we feel as though they just robbed us of our money. Most of the items had literally no taste and no flavor.
Do not recommend them at all. Go to the Pearland location instead much better quality.

"Tried this place for the very first time, and the Caramel Bliss Macchiato was genuinely one of the best coffees I've ever had. I absolutely love coffee and this is my new favorite caramel coffee. I ordered the large and the drink lasted me and was so satisfying, so definitely looking forward to ordering even bigger next time because it was that good! I ordered the Bakery Ham and Cheese Croissant as well and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful and freshly baked it was. I'm not the biggest fan of ham, so it wasn't my favorite, but the croissant was absolutely delicious and I'd definitely order bakery items again! I can tell the environment in the shop is so peaceful and I got a glimpse of the prayer wall and it definitely caught my eye. Looking forward to frequenting this shop and pray that the Lord exceeds their blessings!"

"I paid to add avocado and was about 3 slices. Steak was good and green mix too."
"Honestly, Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar was pretty overhyped for me. I spent around $50 and unfortunately wouldn’t order again.
The Parmesan Brussels sprouts were bland, and the sauce on them felt unnecessary and didn’t really add anything to the flavor. The fries were also a pretty small portion. My chicken sandwich had way too much garlic spread/sauce—it was spread all over the bun and chicken to the point that I ended up not eating the bun at all.
The whiskey cake itself was decent and probably the best part of the meal, but even the packaging was disappointing because my cake box was left open.
The employee who gave me my order was nice and offered me a drink, which I appreciated. However, she went to the back and returned with the drink already opened with the straw placed inside. I know it was meant as a nice gesture, but from a food-handling/customer perspective, I would have preferred a sealed drink with the straw handed to me separately.
Overall, for the price and all the hyp"

"The empanada was chilled so I appreciate the note on package to warm up for 30 seconds. Unfortunately, it was "old" so the filling was dried out and the crust was like a tortilla that's been left out for a few days. "Todo el pan estuvo delicioso, pero lo favorito de mi orden fueron las fresas con crema, tenían el sabor perfecto, no muy dulces, quede encantada con todo, totalmente recomendado"
"I don't know if I just ordered this way too late in the night. It did say 45 minutes left to dash of the store, but I was just let down with the great reviews. I was really expecting something better. They gave me a small side of the cake, which was mostly icing and there was no milk in the cake whatsoever. The pineapple empanada was just bland. It was OK not the best. "

"I have just moved here from Cal and am in searchof a great brea of place here in Friendswood area for 7 months. I found it this morning at Pelican Breakfast and Lunch. I judge a good breakfast chef by how well they handle the hash browns. Mine were perfect, crispy and seasoned just right. They did my over medium eggs perfect and the sausage was tasty. I was also in awe of their biscuits. Just the right texture with a satisfying buttery taste. The sausage gravy was excellent also. I also give the coffee an A+. This will be my go to breakfast place from now on! "
"Half the English muffin was barely toasted instead of well done as ordered. The hashbrowns were most assuredly not well done. If you ever put your Seabrook location on this app again I will order from them only. That chef read the order & consistently delivered. This one does not. I used to order 3-4 times a week. Now...not ever again. A huge waste of $$$."

"This place is awesome, first time trying them and everything was great.
The Kolache's are some of the best we have had in Houston. Soft and slightly sweet bread and filled with delicious meats and cheese. Our favorites were the ham and cheese, the Jalapeno sausage and cheese, and the brisket.
The breakfast sandwich on croissant was good as well, tasted like actual breakfast sausage.
The donuts we tried were delicious and super soft like little clouds and the eclair was excellent, they actually fill their eclairs proper with lots of cream more than most places.
The Vietnamese coffees were great, strong like you'd expect and the matcha was amazing.
Overall we give them 9/10 very good and highly recommend."
"The Sausage, Egg & Cheese Croissant with requested side of salsa was good. The croissant was buttery, the sausage was juicy, and the eggs cooked well. The salsa added the perfect amount of flavor and spice. I also enjoyed the Hot Boudin Cheese and LG-Jalapeño Sausage Cheese. They both had the perfect amount of heat to them."

"(1) Kids Short Stack Pancakes are delicious and good portion for a child!
(2) My son chose the fruit for his side and it was a terribly small portion - about 2 or maybe 3 ounces.
(3) This was surprising because last weekend he had the kid's waffle (also good, but not as good as today's Kids Short Stack Pancakes), and last weekend the side of fruit was a generous / fair size, maybe 6-7 ounces.
(4) The Kids French Toast Sticks are out of this world!!! Great creativity in coming up with this recipe and flavor combination!!! The creme brûlée dipping sayceis genius! Please be sure the lid is secure on the sauce, though. Our lid had popped off and the sauce spilled all iverthe Kids French Toast Sticks and soaked them before they were delivered. I suspect its because of the heat of the sticks in the same container. If the restaurant wraps the sauce container in Saran Wrap before placing it in the Kids French Toast Sticks container, that will keep the lid from popping off and improve the quality of the dish, because the crispy sticks were tastier than the portions that had soaked up sauce for too long.
(5) The hard poached eggs were delicious! I chose "hard" poached to ensure they didnt arrive with the yolk already busted.even though I prefer a softer poached egg, I'll stick with ordering"hard" poached, because they withstood the travel very well and the yolk was still partially liquid. (The yolk was about 70 percent solidified and 30 percent liquid).
To give you more feedback, here is what we thought of prior orders. As you can determine, we definitely enjoyed this place enough to be a frequent return customer!
(6) The French fries were perfect! Crunchy, crispy, and not overly salted.
(7) The Hash Potatoes were disappointing. They were not crispy, and it was hard to find any bell peppers in them. They were a far cry from the well balanced and seemingly perfectly crisped Hash Potatoes with peppers shown in the restaurant's photo. Also, the plastic container partially melted / warped in transit, so we only tasted a few pieces from the center and tossed the rest, in case any plastic particles had transferred to the food.
(8) The cannoli donuts are insanely scrumptious!!! They taste like the best beignets in the world, married to the best cannolis ever!!! I do wish, however, they would add a side of "just 1" to their DoorDash menu, because 3 are too many for 1 person, especially if you're also having eggs or something else.
(9) Finally, note to the restaurant: Congratulations on your success! PLEASE: (1) add quiches to your menu (including a poblano pepper and cheese one, which would be a great compliment to your chili rellano meals and other menu items), and (2) for items with "eggs on top," such as the hashes, chilaquiles, tacos, etc, please add option for the eggs to be packed ON THE SIDE. We really want to try your chilaquiles and some other savory entrees but have not done so because they'll be ruined in transit if the eggs are packed on top or in the same container."
"This was delicious - like shooting star over the moon (definitely went beyond my expectations) - light yet filling and flavorful breakfast tacos. Indeed the best I've ever had! Definitely will be ordering again before my departure! Next time I'll add a side of 1 egg also! Thanks so much - chef's kiss!"
