"The Homemade Chili was the best restaurant chili I've ever had, hands down. It actually does taste homemade! Lots of beans and wonderfully seasoned meat with just the right amount of tomato. Caution: Might be too spicy for some palates, but as a spicy food lover, I find it has the perfect level of heat.
The Bananas Foster Cake was equally delicious. Comes with yummy caramel on the side to drizzle over it. The cake has a delicious banana flavor and it is nice & light and very moist.
Husband had Fish N' Chips and he really enjoyed the flounder. (Flounder is one of his preferred fried fish choices, so he appreciates that's the fish they serve in this meal, and not whitefish like many others.) He also thought the Cole slaw was good, even though the appearance threw him at first. They mince the cabbage *very* finely, and neither of us had ever seen slaw that looks like that. He had to take a bite to identify what it was. But, as they say, don't judge a book by its cover because the taste was fine. Unfortunately, the fries didn't travel well so they weren't the best. I don't hold that against the restaurant though, because we live 11 miles away and rhat's a long trip for french fries. Someone closer would most definitely have a better outcome with the fries. "

"This is the first time I've ever really taken the time to write a review like this, and for good reason. I normally see no reason to do so, as most people ignore them, and I usually don't think the owner of the restaurant will take notice.
But this is different.
My wife and I both ordered the CHICKEN PARMIGIANA. And it's the most delicious, best tasting chicken parm either of us have ever had, and my wife grew up Italian, eating traditional Italian dishes prepared by old school Italian family.
The chicken is obviously hand prepared, and it's a fantastic size for the dish. It's a large portion of pasta, and even in a great ratio to the chicken.
However... they really messed up with the sauce. Don't get me wrong, the sauce is just as astonishingly delicious as the rest of the dish. But there's so little of it. I flipped through the pasta, hoping that maybe they had put some in layers throughout the dish... no. It really was just the little bit that was on the surface.
Leo, you have to stop skimping on the sauce. The meal would be truly mind-bending, if there was a proper ratio of sauce to pasta. Right now, it's 90% pasta, 10% sauce. It needs to be 75% pasta, 25% sauce, especially with such a large portion of pasta. This comes from a fourth generation Italian woman.
If any potential diners are reading this, and have made it this far, it is still worth ordering this dish. It's tasty enough to be worth the lacking sauce. But if I were you, after placing your order, I would consider placing a call and asking if they can add 15% more sauce. You'll be glad you did, and it's worth whatever amount of money they want for it. "

"WOW! I am so happy we tried Capriotto's. the subs were huge. I ordered an extra meatball but definitely did not need to. the meatballs are light, juicy and so flavorful.
