"I know so much has changed regarding food quality since Covid, but my first time back to Eric's Deli was very disappointing. The Hawaiian pancakes have shredded coconut, macadamia nuts, and banana slices cooked inside the batter. The fresh (not canned) pineapple is sliced on top. Short stack was very filling, flavor was ok.
The Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal pancakes have fresh apple bits and oatmeal cooked inside the batter. Unusual, tasty, filling. Side of apple compote reminds me of canned apple pie filling.
Denver omelet with hash browns and a bagel was disappointing. The hash browns had an odd sour flavor and not much else, no seasoning or flavor. The omelet was bland and hard. It was simply folded in half with fillings, exactly as I would make at home. It was not fluffy and not seasoned. Bagel was ok, plain, corn meal on the bottom.
All in all everything was very bland and I do not recommend this place for breakfast. "
