"Yummy food. However, the value isn't great, considering that this meal cost $20. The amount of noodles was so much less than I've ever seen in a 37. Special Vermicelli meal at any Vietnamese restaurant. As well, these weren't the usual vermicelli noodles , or perhaps they were drier and cut short. Noodles + meat were in one container and broth in another separate container. Bag with lime, basil, cilantro, sprouts. Difficult to tell size in picture but I got a medium which was the perfect size. I also got the Matcha Lava Cake which had the cake in one container and ice cream in another which let me separately put in freezer until after I ate the pho. Microwaved cake for 30 seconds and kind of exploded which is why the picture looks like that lol so maybe do 15-20 instead. Coconut ice cream was so good on its own too, wish I could buy a pint. Would get again and thank you to the restaurant for having well packaged to go items. "

The Tom Kha Coconut Soup (14oz) was lovely but with a lot less cilantro or bean sprout or bean sprouts in I'm used to and I think it had a total of 4 pieces of shrimp in it. Just...not what I was used to from this restaurant. It has been a favorite of mine for years but I've not eaten there for at least 18 months recently. Maybe this is the new normal. I was stating that I don't care for the fact they just add whatever protein to their meals so the chicken or tofu (which is what we usually get) do not have time to absorb the flavor of the sauce. I do really like the salad rolls when they serve them with the green sauce. Half the time I have ordered them though I end up with plum sauce, which I do not like at all. And $12 for two tofu salad rolls is pretty expensive for veggies and rice paper. The quality has definitely gone down in the last two years. "Among all the seafoods I have tried so far, scallops are the type I am least familiar with. I ordered Stir Fried Scallops from Ming Hao Restaurant, to distinguish it from my regular go-to seafoods. The attempt was worth it! My meal contained juicy mushrooms; celery--not the bitter type; onions—not the soggy type; neatly-sliced bamboo shoots; fluffy broccoli; pleasantly crisp carrots; the all-delicious Chinese cabbage; and fresh, soft, meaty, scallops that seem to disintegrate into bubbles once you chew them… The whole in a not-too-spicy, not-too-boring soup. Ordering the meal, I was just interested in the scallops which I made sure to mindfully degust, but everything else was worth the price. Added to this is the large portion size that could satiate more than one person.
On the other hand, the experience would have been even better if cutlery were added to the delivery bag and if the meal were served in a larger and wider container as the soup unfortunately overflowed out of the box. And to those who don’t consume pork ordering Fried Rice as a substitution, make sure to add special instructions that you would want it without the pork bits (I ended up not eating the fried rice because of the added pork).
Overall, this is a dish I’d recommend."

Both were quite good but I would definitely go for the fried rice over the jasmine next time. There was a nice amount of chicken and the flavor was appealing . I'm not a big sweet hot person, would have liked if they offered a savory hot option for the sauce. That being said the sauce was tasty, just not really my thing. The flavor of the shrimp was impressive even without sauce. The broccoli and edamame were properly prepared with a filling serving size.
My one criticism would be that there were approximately 6-8 shrimp in one (a nice serving, they’re not overly big) and only 3 in the other box."
