However, I found myself wishing everything had more flavor/seasoning. Especially the catfish and fries. To be fair, I'm from the Deep South and have high standards when it comes to catfish. But the breading definitely needed some seasoning. The wings would be amazing if there was a spicy version of breading on them. I opted for the buffalo sauce on the side instead of being tossed, and I'm so glad I did bc the buffalo sauce was not good. It was more like straight tobacco instead of buffalo sauce. I also wish that restaurants which served lots of fried food would follow Chili's lead on packaging take out orders. When you pkg fried food in styrofoam containers and then place it in plastic bags that are tied up, the steam has nowhere to go. You are ensuring that your customers have soggy food by the time it gets to their house. Using cardboard take out containers and paper bags helps the fried food retain its integrity and stay crispy. Needless to say, my food was pretty soggy. The catfish held up pretty well though. I don't think I would ever order from here again, however, it was an enjoyable meal. Just not very memorable ."

"I rarely ever leave reviews for anything, however Hook's is by far the best restaurant for the incredible food at unbelievable low prices. I have always loved Gyros, I have been going to Grecian Delight for over 20 years because I love their Gyros. Until I ordered one from Hook's about 6 months ago. Hook's Gyro is HUGE, and so incredibly delicious! Nothing can compare to the inc taste and the gigantic size. They are bigger than burrito that you get from Hot Heads, they are loaded with a ton of delicious meat then topped with fresh lettuce, onion, tomatoes, and cucumber sauce. I order one at least once a week and could never get tired of them because they really do taste that amazing. For around $12 you are getting a gyro so large it is almost impossible to eat all of it at once and fries are included. You can barley get a nasty combo meal at the chain restaurants for that price. I also LOVE their breaded mushrooms! Hook's is amazing. I'm not sure how it is possible but it tastes better every time I eat there. I recommend Hook's to absolutely loves delicious quality food, and thank God they keep it so affordable too."
