"I'll caveat this by saying that I generally enjoy Starbucks. This particular order, they didn't have one of our breakfast sandwiches, and instead of asking what else we wanted, they sent an $8 starbucks gift card. That won't even cover the taxes and delivery fees at the next restaurant I have to order from. Also, both of our coffees were made with way too much milk."

"Everything here that we ordered was piping hot, fresh and delicious! The Vegetable Fried Rice & Gobi Manchurian were packed full of flavor, the Poori & Garlic Naan were well seasoned. Wish the Gobi Manchurian was a little more crispy but it was still delicious!"
"Madras Palace is a vegetarian Indian restaurant. I was happy the Vegetable Noodles were medium spice level as I made a special request. The portion was delicious and generous so I got 3 meals out of my 2 orders. The Vegetable Thali was a sampler of 8 different dishes(7 savory/1 sweet). It also included rice and I large whole wheat flatbread. I enjoyed 6/8: 1 was just too spicy for me and I'm a baker so the soft dessert didn't appeal to me. Overall I thought it was a good may to explore their menu."

"Gravy portion is too little for how much price you're paying and even comparing to nearby restaurants. Garlic naan seemed it was stale and not fresh at all. Accidentally ordered from here but would not order again. Taste is mid as well. Samosa chaat came with only 2 samosas and chutney on side - chaat usually has garbanzo beans, yogurt, sev. "Absolutely amazing . I been eating and ordering from here for so long and this is basically a hidden gem and very affordable. Super nice family owed restaurant and amazing staff. The food came super fast and delicious as always !! This place is just perfect all the way !!!"
"The Butter Chicken was amazing! More tomato based than I expected and mild in spice, but very good. It gave just a lil kiss of spice and the chicken was well cooked and tender. The rice was plain but fresh tasting, it would do better with some nuts. Now the Bhatura, was the holy grail I didn't know I needed in my life! Overall experience, including pickup which was smooth and price (16$) 10/10!!! Will be ordering again whenever I'm in the mood for Indian. "

"Amazing flavors! Just ordered for first time and everything is incredible. I don't review restaurants often but this place really deserves it. Will be on our regular list for sure! So happy to have an awesome new place in town!!"
"My goodness... WOW! Every single dish was outstanding. I walk by this place all the time, and was hesitant because the previous owner never had anybody in the restaurant, and the reviews were poor. Then Mandala took over, and I have slowly seen it getting busier and busier. Then the other day, an Indian foodie friend told me the food was excellent. And then another person said you gotta try it.
I don't know why I waited this long, but this is some of the best Indian food I have ever had... and we've been to just about all of them in the DC Metro area, including Rasika. Great job, Mandala! I'll be walking over there for more of your food very soon!!!"

"This is like Pakistani Chipotle but even better! The ingredients are fresh, quality, unprocessed real food, and full servings of flavorful food. And finally a full variety of actually tasty vegetarian options. The Red Kidney Bean Rice Bowl was so savory and one of my new cravable favorites. The Baklava is good and a decent size. The Hummus with Pita and Samosa Chaat are authentic and fresh. Salad was bland but super fresh. One samosa for $5 is actually insane but at least it was a perfectly made samosa. This place is now in top rotation."

"The Chicken Tikka Masala was flavorful and the chicken was cut up into smaller pieces which made it easy to eat. The Garlic Naan was tasty and came with 2 large pieces. The Butter Chicken was also delicious and creamy. "
"Food was great. Chicken Tikka Masala was not too oily. The sauce was not too over powering. Garlic Naan was tasty. The portions were huge. I ordered two Garlic Naan since normally in most Indian restaurants the naan's are small - not here. They gave me two sides of rice though I thought it will only come with one rice. The price is affortable. Perfect for two people, and we still had leftover. Highly recommend this place. "

"The Masala Dosa was amazing! I ate it all and did not share. The Tandoori Lamb Chops were perfection. I hope this is a common weekend special so that I can order it again. The Chettinadu Mushroom Biriyani was a bit spicer than I thought it would be when I ordered it mild, but it was still so good that every last grain of rice was eaten. "Absolute best Lamb Biryani that I have ever had!! Expertly seasoned rice and large and plentiful chunks of lamb. The Indian Spiced Hummus was delightful and a good portion as well. My new favorite Indian restaurant. Me and my spouse both have plenty of leftovers. Good bang for your buck. Trust. "
"Don't be scared off by the price tag or lack of %off deals. The portions are so generous that each entree yields two full meals. The food is always excellent. Generous amount of meat in the biryanis and perfect proportion of paneer in the Saag Paneer. The Chicken Tikka Masala is always a favorite. Butter Chicken is basically the same flavors, but a little more rich. Also delicious. The rice here particularly stands out over other Indian restaurants in the area. "I just want to update the negative review I left yesterday upon opening the package for hungry kids who literally barely had enough and we're already complaining...
The other dishes that I pulled later had a normal amount in the boxes so I can only assume the 2 were a fluke. Sadly kids are an unforgiving crowd.
The food was good though. I give 5 stars to try and even out the 2 from yesterday. "
"The goat biryani had significantly less meat than it usually does. The same was true for the goat korma—it was mostly gravy with very few pieces of meat. I have ordered from this restaurant many times before and have always had a good experience, which is why this was especially disappointing. "Always outstanding food!! The butter chicken is amazing. The rice and Cucumber Raita are always great basics. The Chicken Vindaloo was fantastic. Medium spicy is pretty spicy if you're not used to it, but probably nothing for most folks. Very authentic and hands down the only place we order Indian/Bangladeshi food! "

"If you are missing the taste of Indian masala and spices then this Chef Special Biryani ( Chicken ) is the one to try. The quantity of food (rice+chicken) is really good and the taste is authentic. Very spicy..."
"I was really disappointed with the Butter Chicken. For one thing it was extremely spicy and I wasn't expecting that at all. I would not have ordered it if I knew that. For another thing, there was a very small amount of chicken for the cost.
Other items were decent, I particularly liked the Eggplant Kara Kulambu, great flavors. But I had a hard time eating after the spicy butter chicken. "

"The Samosa Chat, Masala dosa, and Mango Lassi were phenomenal. The Samosa Chat was the best chat I've had in a while, perfectly savory and spiced with a great balance of light sweetness. Masala dosa came deconstructed which made it perfect for delivery. Full of flavor and comfort. The Mango Lassi was as good as I've had stateside. Delicious food and fast service! "

"The small lamb seekh kabob pizza was outrageously fantasmagorical. I got apna style cause I love coriander garlic and Indian spices but can't have tomatoes and don't like chili peppers, so I asked for sweet red peppers instead and with the red onion it was a wonderfully tasty combination. I have to say, as a former New Yorker, the crust was perfection. It fed 3 people to happy belly satisfaction but we all wanted more, despite the higher prices (esp. w/ delivery), Can't wait to get it again."
"As always, FANTASTIC pizza! These guys are the best in the area and I would absolutely 100% recommend them over any other pizza place as an alternative to regular American or Italian pizza. Fresh, authentic toppings, always amazing:) The Indian pizza they offer is much better than the alternatives in the area and much more reasonably priced. Absolutely love this place!!"

"Prices may seem high but it's worth every penny. Before we even get to the food itself, the packaging and presentation are head an shoulders above any other delivered food I have ever gotten. The food is divine. The Side of Bagheli Polo was generously portioned, and the Koobideh Kabob with Rice Entrée was one the best kubideh kebabs I've had. Definitely give this place a try."
"WOW. This place was amazing and I will definitely be ordering from here again. The presentation of the food was beautiful. Everything was packed in a nice box with the hot food separated from the cold. The Mast-O Musir 1/2 lb was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I enjoyed dipping the meat and the bread in it. The bread itself was so soft and fresh. Absolutely luxurious. The Kobideh Kabob with Bread Entrée was tasty along with the fresh grilled veggies. The side of sumac was a nice touch. For me, this was enough for leftovers today for lunch, and I cannot tell you how much I am looking forward to lunch!!!"
