"Best pizza I've had in a while. I think it's also a better deal than a lot of other delivery in terms of portion or overall amount. Delivered hot and fresh. Will order again for sure. Try the medium or large cheese."
"what can I say, they have a great pie at a competitive price and although I understand everyone has an off day; today, was not one of them, for them.
I was left happily and gratefully satisfied. Their sauce is tasty, the crust was made to my specific request, "slightly on the well done side." and they weren't cheap with the pepperoni. AND..., they didn't forget the drink. win win for me
I was also impressed with how quickly they were able to get the order out, at a time I know to be a rush.
I have nothing negative to say, it was a much needed and welcomed stress free break on an otherwise stress filled day.
To the staff at Vinny's, thank you."

"Nonna Lucia's never disappoints. Her cooking is as Old World authentic Italian as it gets, all wrapped in flavorful goodness. The Baked Ziti is one of my all-time favorites, with all dente pasta, savory tomato sauce and baked, creamy ricotta, and crispy melted mozzarella. The boule of freshly baked bread right from her oven is one-of-a-kind!"
"I got Alfredo pasta with crispy chicken, the pasta had NO sauce just clumpy oil mess, very bland no flavor, pretty sure I paid $6 for a couple pieces of chicken ! Very big portion but it was disappointing especially for $30 wouldn't order this dish again"

"Every time we order from here we are VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality. Easily our favorite spot. Their 12" Small Cheese Calzone has to be the best we've had ever! We added sausage to ours and it did not disappoint! Also, their Garlic Knots (20) will be our go-to app. 20 knots for $10 can't be beat, and it's PACKED with flavor and soooo delicious. "
"This place is the BOMB!! Everything packed to perfection. The ceasar salad was fresh and the chicken was juicy. The bread they added in was toasty. The brownies were big and soft and also warm. This will be my GO to for my feast salad obsession! "

"The Clam Chowder is excellent! Perfectly seasoned. The Fettuccini Carbonara is delicious as well, and the Meat Ball Parmigiana Grinder was above par. Overall very satisfied with the quality quantity and value. "
"Chicken Parmigiana was pretty good. The Cavatelli Bolognese With Meatballs was horrible, very oily and terrible flavor. The meatball had a weird consistency and not great flavor. Coconut Shrimp was good and did not care for the Garlic Bread Parmigiana either. Not a great meal for that price."

"Delicious huge juicy burger, the Caesar salad and fries were yummy. Worth the price, you get what you pay for"
"Don't let the prices discourage you from ordering. The food & portions are absolutely worth it. Obviously for a place like this, go to the actual restaurant and experience it in person. You most definitely will not be disappointed. I got the Mussels which were fantastic. The sauce they come in is perfect. My wife got the Apple Salad GF which she loves. And we both shared the Calamari Fritti . I also got the Classic Chicken Parmigiana which was good but the sauce from the Mussels was definitely better and actually added the rest of it to my chicken. All of which are super filling and plentiful. Definitely recommend 10/10!"

"This spot is AMAZING. Not even exaggerating. Everything was really delicious. Portions were great. Totally worth the (reasonable) cost. I got the Wings, Gnocchi Pesto, 2 pizzas, both fab, but the FINO Pizza was really, really, REALLY good. It was my first time ordering from there, so I was cautiously optimistic, but holy cannoli...my new favorite spot. Highly recommend trying it. Five stars. "
""One bite, everybody knows the rules". Dave Portnoy would love this pizza. Nice undercarraige, only reason there was a SLIGHT bit of flop was because it was delivery, and it still held nicely . Crispy, perfect crust, delicious sauce and really good cheese. "My gf really loves their 12 Oz. New York Strip. She says it's flavorful, cooked perfectly and delicious. They were a bit skimpy with the mashed potatoes this time for both entrees, but we will still love them. "I dine in frequently, this is one of the few restaurants that I feel the food is just as good as takeout. "Food is consistently fresh and delicious. Generous portions, packed neatly and nicely for takeout. Bread is fresh and warm, and salads are crisp and fresh, generously sized. They give plenty of dressing. Not skimpy at all. You will enjoy this food when you had a hard day at work and dont want to cook. Totally worth the price. "
"my wife and I eat out several times a week we like Brass City Bistro San Marino's Pizza Castle J&M and Wolcott Etc so tonight we decided we'll try Giovanni's. my entree is unedible. I ordered a shrimp and broccoli alfredo whoever's in the kitchen has no idea how to make Alfredo sauce. the broccoli was so overcooked it just disintegrated to mush when you try to touch it they were like three shrimp which were tiny and it is a starchy white milk sauce with absolutely no Alfredo flavor. I'm not a complainer but when I spend $80 for two entrees I expect them to be edible. my wife ordered veal franchise in the veal taste like it's been frozen for 3 weeks and way overcooked. whoever is in your kitchen you should fire them tonight. I do not mind spending money on a good meal. we visited butcher Brothers in Cheshire last week and had two steak dinners and it was $280 so I have no problems spending money on good food but the food of Giovanni's is garbage"

Rave Reviews
"The extra cheese pizza was very good. We got the extra large size. It was a crowd pleaser. I love the margarita pizza, but my sister thought it had too much garlic. I like too much garlic. Anyway the cheesy garlic bread had a lot of cheese on it."
"SPECTACULAR pizza from
Zois Pizza.
This time we made a pizza, only,
order, and we were THRILLED
with the results.
The Veggie Special was packed with
peppers, olives, onions, mushrooms
and a generous amount of cheese.
With a Neapolitan crust, this amount
of vegetables would have made it
soggy. But with Zois, the cake-like
Greek crust, absorbed water given
off by the veggies and still remained
crispy and toothsome. The large
portion of cheese balanced the lack
of processed meats. So Zois makes
it easier to eat healthy !
A similar story for the Veggie Flor-
entine. Veggies give off more water
per item, but the Greek crust had a
firm and dry undercarriage and the
rim was crunchy and toast-like.
DELICIOUS!
Zois Pizza is never a disappointment
and always a treat.
Thank You."

"The Greek salad is USUALLY so delicious, but it was not this time! This time it was REALLY disappointing. There was mostly wilted, soggy lettuce (under the top layer), not as much feta as usual, it had olives when it wasn't supposed to, and the portion was smaller than usual. I should've called the restaurant, but I didn't because I was so tired, hungry and annoyed.

"The Nachos Explosivos with Meat was absolutely delicious. There wasn't a single chip without tons of topping! "
"The Nachos Explosivos with Meat were delicious! The tortilla chips were crispy, the beef was seasoned perfectly and the portion size was really big for the price. My son loved the Cheese Quesadilla- he said it tasted really good and he is a very picky eater. Great first experience with this restaurant! I will definitely be ordering food from here again."

"Baked Lasagna good portion. Some of the ingredients were ground beef, ricotta, Lasagna noodles, chopped green pepper, cheese and sauce. It's delicious! packaged well. Container had paper plate under it that helped because it was nice and hot. Container wrapped in plastic to keep it from spilling. Onion rings crispy and golden 😋. Big serving of Fried Dough, cut into squares then fried.(makes it easy to share) dusted with powered sugar and a small cup of sauce. The Chocolate Cake: a layer of moist chocolate cake on bottom with what resembled a chocolate mousse on top garnished with chocolate flakes. Ohh so good! ☺️"
"The honey barbecue wings are out of this world!!! They're better than J Timothy's! The house special pizza is excellent- all fresh ingredients, cooked all the way through, perfect crust- best pizza in Waterbury! The Tuscan calzone is phenomenal- cooked perfectly- best calzone crust I've ever had! I wish I could give this place more stars!!! "

"Super yummy lunch! French onion soup was super rich and tasty! Burger was big and juicy."
"Ordered last night on New Years Eve and unfortunately the experience was awful, no exaggeration. We spent $103 on the following:
Loaded Nachos with chili 19.99
We received 3 tons of tortillas with very little cheese burnt on and toppings in seperate timsto build ourselves. Not a horrible idea for the chili which was seperate and in a quart container, but the container of other toppings was unnecessary and awful. It was jalapeño, onions, tomato, and lettuce?? Jalapeños were bottled not fresh, but worse was half a container of lettuce, who puts romane lettuce on nachos?! And the container was 60% lettuce, very little onion, jalapeño, and tomatos. They gave a side of what I can only describe as tomato paste and salsa. I didn’t take a photo of one container of toppings before I had to put the nachos together myself (we were hungry and I added more cheese) but did include a pic of lettuce we didn’t use which was more than half the container.
Fried Calamari with Gorgonzola and peppers $19.99 -- wouldve been ok but they put the Gorgonzolain a container inside the container and it was liquid when we got it since it was so hot! Ive never seen gorgonzola completely melted! Tried to show this in photo. There were also pieces of french fries in our calamari!! This means they use the same oil to fry both!! Thats dirty and its why This means they use the same oil to fry both!! Thats dirty and its why the Fried Calamari tastes like fries.
Daily Special Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese
$18.99 -- this was my dinner and it was inedible!! It was so soggy that the bread on the bottom half was comletely shredded. I am not exaggerating! I couldn't eat it. I ended up scraping some meat off, and toasting my own bread and cheese with it today, didnt eat it last night. Also upsetting was I ordered onion rings for a $2 upcharge with $16.99 inedible brisket grilled cheese and they gave me fries. See my receipt attached. I gave fries to my son after crisping them in air fryer. I just noticed receipt says they ran out of onion rings but they didnt
Credit me!
Pepper Jack Burger
Burger my husband liked the burger but had to take the long hot peppers off because they were too hot, they were huge but that’s no fault of the restaurant, just too hot for him. The half pound burger was great size and he said at least they didn’t skimp on the bacon. Sadly, his sweet potato fries which cost $2 upcharge were so soggy he couldn’t eat them. I put them in the air fryer which helped a little but he barely ate any.
Kids Cheeseburger Sliders
Our son had kids sliders and French fries and didn’t complain. $9.99
I think this restaurant is new to delivery orders, the packaging is just bad. They should put fried foods on tin foil at least and you never put Gorgonzola inside a tin container with very hot fried food. We order out far too often and this was simply awful on so many levels. It’s bad enough food is soggy but the frying issues, the lack of ingredients, strange ingredients, misplacement of ingredients, not providing what we paid for, no utensils as requested, it was a horrible experience and it’s depressing we spent so much money on it. I do not recommend delivery from this restaurant, nor take out. "

I've eaten here with my fiance over 40 times and we've never had a single bad experience or meal. "
"The food is great. However, the $30 pasta dish was so small that the side of mac n cheese had more pasta. Also, as you can see from the picture that the container was smaller than the paper towel and the container was half filled."

"moved to CT just over a year ago and everyone has told me CT has the best pizza but I had yet to find a place that really sold me on that idea. this was the first pizza place in the state that absolutely floored me with how good the pizza is. the crust tastes like real dough, not a prepackaged dough product, the vegetable toppings were definitely fresh but ALSO cooked properly on the pizza instead being half raw and half burnt like other places. perfect sauce to cheese ratio too, and the pepperoni was both tasty and also didn't soak the pizza in grease. this is my permanent pizza place from here on out."
"have been using them for years. always hot, always fresh, and alot of flavor. I love pie guys. and my kids do too. highly recommend. first time with the Loaded Curly Fries and they were amazing. my 15 Wings & Garlic Bread were excellent as usual. and for 4 boys who are never satisfied they ate all the pizza you see missing and then some and then passed out!"
