"The food arrived promptly. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan, which was a HUGE portion. I was happy to have leftovers for my lunch the next day. The salad was fresh as were the rolls. The wedding soup had plenty of meatballs and was wrapped in plastic wrapping to prevent spillage. "

"First time ordering from Gallo's. I'm willing to bet the Tortellini Ala Vodka was good once upon a time whenever it was first made/fresh. However, the microwaved version I received certainly was not. Homemade Apple Dumplings had the same issue- NOT fresh. The apples inside the dumplings were not soft- had an odd texture- not quite crunchy- but almost; my GUESS is the dumplings were not cooked fully prior to being microwaved & served to us [via delivery]. (Just a guess, based on experience.) The side of bread was good, except we could only eat the top part, as the bottom was burnt black & hard. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was THAT off putting- especially for the price point. The hunt for good Italian delivery continues!
