2) Braised Short Ribs - meat was confusingly dry throughout, with what appeared to be a turkey gravy - definitely not the promised red wine sauce and definitely not an appropriate amount. Meat was flavorless, although the (wrong) sauce was tasty. Carrots had a nice bite, but once again: zero seasoning. Everything lacked the juicy depth of flavor normally associated with this dish. I'm going to pick out the choice bites and turn the rest into a soup. Mashed potato side was delicious and extremely generous portion - far more potatoes than meat in this dish.
3) Garlic Mashed Potatoes - I'm saving these for later, but for $9, you're getting a scoop that looks to be about 6-8 oz. Tasty, but that's very expensive!
I spent almost a day's wages treating myself and got slightly more than 1 meal's worth of mediocre food... I would consider Lake Chalet to be a huge waste of money. Maybe the charm lies in eating at the actual restaurant...?"

"We love iHop, but today's food was really not good. Sunnyside up eggs 2 Eggs were actually partially raw (not like a normal sunnyside, the whites were actually fully raw surrounding the yolk, unsafe to eat).
Jr. Cupcake Pancake Combo #1 had an undercooked & mushy pancake, and all the sausages and bacon were overcooked. "Crispy" Hash Browns were dark on the tops but nearly raw underneath. Junior Jr. Cupcake Pancake Combo #2 was very limp, with none of iHOP's usual fluffiness. After seeing the raw egg and undercooked hash browns my son said he didn't feel safe eating the food.
Probably just an off day, but we are really disappointed.
iHOP usually uses very cool layered/stacked containers for delivery, but today's containers were all separate (more plastic to waste) and seemed to make the food more soggy than usual."

"I absolutely love Le Petit Creme. Desserts are consistently excellent, beautifully presented and delivered. I love cheesecake and my favorites here are the San Sebastian Cheesecake (Gluten Free, %100 Handmade) and the Blueberry Cream Basque Cheesecake. They are heavenly creamy and perfectly sweetened. "As I write this review, I'm picturing all the desserts I've tried here at La Petite Crème and my mouth is watering. The San Sebastian Cheesecake is exquisite. It's unlike any other cheesecake I've had. My spoon slid into it as if I were eating ice cream. It's the perfect texture and the fact that this style of cheesecake has no crust is like a dream come true. It's sweet, but just the right amount. The Southern Style Banana Pudding was packed with flavor and as soon as I opened it, the whole dining room smelled like banana candy. It is served in a jar where all the layers are visible so when I eat it, I know I'm getting a little bit of each. I was surprised with a piece of fruit here and there and it was not cloyingly sweet. Then there's the Artisan Mascarpone Tiramisu... This one is so dangerously delicious that I was planning on eating 1/2 of it and lost control. I felt disappointed that it was all gone but only because I wanted more. . Its container is squared and clear. I can see how every lady finger is soaked in espresso and covered by a heavenly creamy mascarpone that is just the right amount of sweet. It is delicately layered and its top is then covered completely with cocoa powder. I'd say this tiramisu is worth gaining weight for but that's what I'm trying not to do. As a compromise, I just enjoy it weekly. Safe to say La Petite Crème has a loyal customer here. I'm not exaggerating when I say all 3 picture-worthy desserts have made me close my eyes while I sigh. They've made me feel like I'm floating on clouds."
