"Chicken biryani was much spicier than expected, with no mention of spice level on the menu. For $17, the portion was overwhelmingly rice-heavy, with only 2 drumsticks and a very small piece of breast, which felt like poor value. The rice was also noticeably oily.
The overall experience was made worse by poor communication. When I called the listed number, there was no introduction of the business, and I had to say hello multiple times before getting a response.
On top of that, the order had to be reassigned after a driver left without the food, which added to the confusion and delay. While that may not be entirely on the restaurant, it reflects a lack of coordination.
Even small details were disappointing—the utensils provided were extremely small and impractical.
Overall, this was a frustrating experience from start to finish. Between the lack of clarity, poor value, and communication issues, I would not order again—especially with better halal options in the area."

"Loved our takeout order from Tandoor India in Towne Center Plaza. The Chicken Curry that we ordered very hot had plenty of heat which was balanced well with the curry flavor. The Garlic Naan was super fresh and came to us still warm and was a great value. Lastly, the Shrimp Vindaloo was a nice option. The vindaloo sauce was a little different than what we were used to with some sweetness to it, but we still found it very flavorful. We'll definitely be ordering from here again!"

"I’m just not really sure what gourmet about this place. I find the food to be mediocre at best, and the prices are absolutely astronomical for what you were given. People rave about the chicken lettuce wraps, and I agree that it was the best thing that I received. But it’s basically just moo shu chicken with a bunch of iceberg lettuce on the side (and the lettuce is not even cleaned well; I had to rinse them in the sink to get dirt off). I also got BBQ spare ribs which had very little meat on them. It was not worth the money and very hard to gnaw the measly portion off the bones.
I ordered shrimp lo mein thinking that the shrimp would be of higher quality than the typical Chinese takeout place, but the shrimp were extremely overcooked and too tough to chew, so I ended up not eating the shrimp. On top of that, there wasn’t a vegetable in sight. I’m used to seeing green onions, mushrooms, and the occasional piece of broccoli or carrot in lo mein, and this was just noodles with impossible to eat shrimp.
The last thing I got was chicken with broccoli which was mediocre at best. The pieces of chicken were admittedly gigantic (3+ bites per piece) and pounded so thin that they were extremely dry, but the brown sauce was good, and that is something that I find is lacking elsewhere. But, for these 4 things, I spent over $100. I really find that to be unconscionable, even in today’s inflated economy. This was the last of 3 chances that I’ve given to this restaurant, both in person and via delivery. I think I’ll stick with the more mediocre Chinese food options that we have in Monmouth county. At least they don’t PRETEND to be “gourmet”."

"This review doesn't negatively affect the food quality. I have 2 suggestions rather than a bad review. The food was delivered in several plastic bags and one paper bag high made it hard for the delivery driver to keep everything together and secured. In the future, less is more when it comes to packaging. One of the sauces spilled because of how many bags he was trying to juggle. Lastly this might be a change that can be made on DoorDash ordering system. For the soda cans, it shows you a coke but doesn't give you an option to choose so it seems like the store chooses for you. I got some inks colas which isn't the worst but just not what I was expecting. Maybe adding the ability for choosing flavors would help. Food was fantastic as per usual."
