The bacon is real pan fried bacon, and at least 1/3 cup or more. They add a lot of shredded cheddar, and the avocado is fantastic. "As always the food from Stone Jug was amazing. My only complaints about the food are the portion sizes, especially on the cornbread and the bread pudding were tiny. Literall one square inch. I wish I was joking. My husband accused me of eating all his bread pudding, and I had to tell him that was all they gave us. Also there were only 2 tiny pickle slices with my pastrami sandwich. Not enough to even taste them. And they stopped giving sides in separate containers they now put them directly in the box with the entree. Much smaller portion of the sides with their new setup. The kids ribs had 2 ribs in the package, I swear it used to have 3-4. None of the tamper evident seals were actually sealing the containers which concerned me, but we ate it anyway. I have always loved this restaurant and will continue to love it, but the portion sizes were not at all reflective of the prices. They seriously slimmed down their offerings. This is the first time we have door dashed instead of going there, so I'm wondering if they just give smaller portions for to go orders? I still love the food though, quality has not changed at all. Just very disappointed with how little we actually got. "

"I used to love Popeye' and was really looking forward to this AND I was super hungry. I was so disappointed. My DoorDasher was great on his part- quick pickup and delivery, followed delivery instructions. I received my correct order with napkins, sporks, and a straw. My soda cup was overly packed with ice. The chicken pieces were amazingly small. The meat was tender, moist, and flavorless. The batter was crispy, greasy,and seemed to have no seasoning at all... a little salt and pepper would have helped. My poor biscuit was dry but not hard. There was no buttery flavor that I was expecting, but there was some sort of funny chemical flavoring. The chocolate chip biscuit was a little dry but tasty---that and the Diet Coke were the best part of the meal. The mashed potatoes and beans with rice were nothing to get excited about. I likely won't get Popeye's again for a long time, if ever. I'm sad and out $20. The food was edible, but not enjoyable at all"
