I've heard their food is more on the salty side, but I feel the saltiness is so overpowering, that it's hard to enjoy the food's distinct flavor that it has, unfortunately. From the fried items, the shrimp was the only thing that wasn't overbearing, but perhaps underflavored too. The other sides I ordered (mashed potatoes and coleslaw), were fine, definitely different from what I've tasted as a southerner, but nothing phenomenal.
