I have to say, this bummertown one was head and shoulders above the first one we tried, based on exactly two experiences. If we were not running for our lives from Californicator's trying to turn my hometown into Oakland, CA circa 1985 (fast food served through bulletproof glass), I would probably be ordering a lot as long as they keep this quality level up. I tried the Crab Rangoon (7PCS) this time and they are good too. The cream cheese would be a great way to cool down the spicy, if it's too much for you. I've tried the Thai iced tea once and will not order it again. I paid way too much for a cup that was completely overflowing with ice, with barely any tea in it at all. I honestly don't know if it's any good. I got maybe one sip out of the entire cup. Needless to say, if you order it, make sure there is no ice. Perhaps they are trying to make sure it stays cold. That said, this place packages their food well. The Green Curry stays hot and fresh for at least an hour, probably longer."

When I order this dish elsewhere, it usually comes with lots of vegetables and meat and broad, fresh rice nooodles. The dish from Thai Charlie's had very few vegetables (I counted five pieces of broccoli and saw one mushroom) an the noodles were slightly wider than usual and had clearly been dried and cooked. There was a good ratio of pork in the dish, but honestly, I was still hungry after eating because the portion was just not what I expected for $18. I also ordered orange chicken, which was fine, but also a pretty small portion size for the price, and much blander than I expected. It wasn't really savory or sweet, which I would expect from Orange chicken. I don't think we'll be ordering from here again"
