"Roots always has high quality avocados. The flavors and textures of the mayweather work so well together and the dressing has a delightful tang to it. Decent portions as well! I find that one salad can last me several meals. Kale is sometimes rough to eat in large quantities but this salad makes it possible. Good if you're looking to fibermaxx.
The sweet potato and beets are hardy, earthy, and sweet. Such nuance in flavor and texture. The goat cheese adds a delicious tang and creaminess. The grains are bland but you need something bland in this salad to let the other ingredients shine through. The chicken is just decent, sometimes a bit dry but it has good char flavor. All of the ingredients shine in that they taste natural and are not trying to be covered up by excess sugar, salt, or oils. I love this salad so much I once tried to make it at home and I would recommend just buying it at roots- it's a lot of work and the payoff isn't as good. It smelled so incredible, I immediately took a piece of falafel by hand to mouth. Cucumber yougurt was not as rich as other tzatzikis I've had.
Lemon vianagrette was meh.
The cilantro and the red pepper sauces were excellent.
