"They don't give enough food compared to other places but it does taste good. The value is lacking.
However, I do appreciate how consistent they are. The items all taste great. Solid choice if you don't mind paying a bit more for a little less food."
"Mango Lassi was great. But the Chicken Tikka Masala dish did not have enough chicken pieces and was mostly sauce. For $20 it didnt seem worth it. It tasted ok. "

"First of all, their behavior with customers is incredibly charming. This was one of the best meals I have ever had. The quality of their food is unbeatable. Their food is so good. It is clean and the price of their food is very low compared to other restaurants. You get a lot of food for a small amount of money.I request those of you who are reading these comments of mine to not just take my word for it, but to place an order and see for yourself, then you will understand how good the quality of the food is.I wish this restaurant a bright future. I believe if they continue this food quality then their restaurant will be profitable one day.I don't know who made my meal, but I want to thank him for giving me such a beautiful meal. Thank you again 💟"
"This used to be our go too for fantastic Indian food. Tonight my food arrived swimming in grease and oil - so much so we couldn't eat it.
Also the Raita was like water , in fact inedible also...
I called the Clove Garden and they confirmed they are under new ownership for the last month - so if you were a fan before be careful we were very disappointed and wont be back again.
Sad as this restaurant used to have the highest standards"

"At the time of this review, we've ordered from Neelam's twice. Food has been absolutely delicious every time. I don't normally eat Indian food, but Neelam's got me hooked and their food is fresh-tasting and high-quality. Great place!
Their Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala (Neelam Special), Butter Chicken (Chicken Makhni), and both the vegetable and meat samosas are awesome!"
"I asked for medium spice and there was no spice at all :( so disappointed. The pieces of Chicken Tikka Masala (Neelam Special) were so big I literally took two bites and gave it to someone else. & my naan was burnt :(((( Wouldn't order again."

"This was my first time ordering here. Recommended by an Indian neighbor attesting to its authenticity. The Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Sheekh Kabob, Goat Bhunnah and Rice Pudding (dessert) were all delicious. Plenty of rice for a family of 6. I had ordered extra rice (only $3) but not necessary. The traditional Naan and garlic Naan are both delicious and moist, and you can tell they're fresh baked."
" 1. Chicken Tikka Masala sauce is good but the order is almost all sauce, no chicken. And only one serving of rice came with two orders of CTM. Luckily I had some rice and chicken in the fridge. Cut up two breasts and added to the abundant sauce. Hey Red Pepper, how bout adding another thigh or something, it won't ruin your profit on $19 CTM!"

Glad that I ordered the Roti to go with everthing!
Yes, they are not cheap, you get what you pay for! Delicately prepared delicious food, will eat in restaurant next time with a bottle of wine. "
"Do not order from this restaurant. It is double the price of anywhere else and portions are tiny, for 137 dollars a meal for 3 we ran out of rice for example. And the food is average quality with too much oil "

"Wow. The other reviewers were right - this place cooks amazing Indian food! First time customer and you've made me a loyal one from the start. Chicken Tikka Masala, Palak Paneer, and Plain Naan were all so flavorful and delicious - what a real treat! Portions are generous. I've been hunting for tasty Indian food in the area for a while and have now found my spot!"
"All the food was amazing!! I love Indian food and have tried many different places, but this one is top notch! The main dishes I ordered were the Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Lamb Biryani. They were all so tasty! I also ordered the Vegetable Samosa (2 Pieces) and it was good too! The portions were great for the price. The only thing I would not get again is the Aloo Roti and Garlic Roti as I felt those could use some additional flavor. I will say that I will definitely be ordering from here whenever I'm craving some good Indian food!"

"Ordered via DoorDash—very disappointing. Samosas were extremely greasy (oil soaked through the bag) and tasted stale. Roti was greasy and chewy, like premade dough. Paneer Bhurji portion was shockingly small—served in an 8oz container at full price when most places give 2–3x that. Poor quality and value overall. Would not recommend."

"The Lamb Makhani (Butter Lamb) is astounding. The lamb is super tender and every bite is just a flavor bomb in your mouth. I also love that you can personalize the spice level, as I prefer it spicy and most places don't offer the choice when ordering online. Also love that when my food arrived (it was far so took a good chunk of time) it was piping hot! I will definitely order again."
"The Chicken Tikka Masala was awful, it was watered down as if they accidentally poured a lot of water into the dish. The sauce was extremely thin and flavorless, the chicken was dry. I tried my best but it was just pointless to chew on tough and tasteless food, I threw it in the trash sadly. Never in my life did I think I would say Indian food had No flavor, so disappointed in Begum.
The dish did not come with rice, I had to order it separately, which is normally not a problem, but the other two dishes ordered came with rice and the rice portion with those was twice the size of the tiny $7 side of rice!
The second worst dish was the Shrimp Coconut. This dish was also very thin / watered down. We did not have to throw this one away, but better quality was still expected.
I ordered from Begum years ago when a friend lived in Chatham, it was so very good. The sauces I remember were rich and flavorful, the meat was never tough.
After this experience, I can't trust to order from here again :/"

"Bhaji Pav is a delicious, comforting street food dish from India, where spiced mashed vegetables (bhaji) are served with soft, butter-toasted bread rolls (pav). The bhaji is rich, tangy, and flavorful, bursting with a blend of spices and fresh ingredients like tomatoes, peas, and potatoes. The pav, crispy on the outside and soft inside, perfectly complements the creamy texture of the bhaji. Topped with a squeeze of lemon and finely chopped onions, it’s a satisfying meal that combines vibrant flavors and textures in every bite. A must-try for anyone seeking hearty, flavorful comfort food!"

"Love the food here. Some of the best Indian food I've eaten. Always taste fresh and delicious "
"I’ve ordered from Bombay Blue many times through DoorDash and by phone, and usually the food has been good. This time was probably the worst experience I’ve had with them.
I ordered Palak Paneer, Paneer Bhurji, and Garlic Naan. The Palak Paneer tasted really bad. The spinach had a strange taste, almost like it was starting to go bad. The Paneer Bhurji was also very bland and had almost no flavor.
The only thing we actually enjoyed was the Garlic Naan.
Overall, I was very disappointed with the taste and quality of the food this time. Definitely not worth the price. I’ve ordered from here many times before and expected much better."

"As someone from out of town, I had trouble deciding where to order from and ultimately ended up going with Indian Xpress and I am SO glad I did. My Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan were sooooo incredibly delicious. I genuinely cannot rave about it enough. 10/10 recommend!! "
"The butter chicken was very oily, you only get one piece of garlic naan per $5.35 order, the spicy wasnt actually spicy, and each entre dish is very small for being $20+ dollars each. Not impressed, borderline disappointing. "

"The Chicken Kabab Roll was great. So much food, and very well done. Enjoyed the Mutton Biryani as well. Zaika is very generous with their meat portions. 5/5 stars"
"Butter Chicken was excellent, comes with white rice. Only slight was that it's a bit less spicy than I thought it'd be.
Chicken Biryani is perfect, nothing much to add there. Came fresh and in a decently good portion, would definitely order again!"

"After a nearly 40-hour journey from India, this was exactly what I needed. I ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani just 8 minutes before closing, and it arrived on time, piping hot, fresh, and perfectly packed with huge portions. The food was flavorful and such a comforting meal after a long trip. Highly recommend!"
"On the photos it shows egg but my biriyani showed up without any egg. The flavor is blend, not much spice and not much meat either. Tons of rice but only two pieces of chicken."

"The Chana Saag is absolutely the best & the Vegetable Spring Rolls are so good! They usually give a small portion of rice with the saag so I always have to make more of my own or buy their side of rice but it would be nice if it came with an appropriate portion of rice for how big the entree is. But even still, their food is the best Indian food I've had!"
"I used to order from here all the time bc their Plain Naan is good. But tonight that was the only good part of my meal. The Veg Samosas were so tiny I used to eat only one and save the rest for lunch the next day but today they are half the size they used to be. The chicken vindaloo was closer to ketchup and franks red hot sauce than any actual Indian spices. The potatoes in the vindaloo were perfect circles as if they were out of a can. And the chicken was really fatty dark meat, all this for $40. I want the best for this place but today was not it."
