"Ordered dulet, and it came. Which is a big deal for the Ethiopian restaurants near here. Four times I have ordered dulet in the last year. Two of them got cancelled outright. The owner of the third restaurant called me to say they had run out of Dulet so have sent a replacement in its place, some "gaslight" affair I have never heard of while back home [and doesnt taste nearly half as good]. He also had the kindness of spirit to offer to come pick it up if I do not want it. The fourth was marked delivered without ever getting to me. But that was probably not the restaurant's fault. Plus, I got a swift response from doordash, and free express delivery while at it.
So, yes, I expected to be disappointed. I was really not. Well, except in the meat which clearly isnt lamb, but tougher, harder, no bueno. Injera was as good as one can expect when dining away from home. Size generous. Packaging great. Taste.... 7 out of 10. Which spells success in my book. But doubt I'll order again. 3.5/5."

Only fault for me was there were no cutlery items , so had to eat with hand and realized that food color was little excess on Tikka Masala, my hand was left yellow and had to be washed multIiple times before it went away. I feel that, this can be improved by using less of food color, since the food is already good .
Plain Naan for me was not as I expected . Even though the naan was hot and packed good , the naan was chewy and was hard to break . I threw most of it since it got hard and hard to chew. I think this can be improved as well. Maybe adding yoghurt to the dough could help.
Samosa was pretty much ok. Filings were balanced. Side chutney were good . Just a little bit more salt could have been better for me .
Overall , the food was good but I have left the review showing some room for improvement. With little bit more attention to details , this place can surely can be the best !

"Beteseb is one of those rare restaurants that gets better every time you go. This was my second visit, and the combination beef and vegetarian platter was incredible from start to finish. The kitfo was my favorite, with the beets, tibs, and the wot close behind. The injera was perfect. Soft, tangy, and easily some of the best I have ever had.
The owner and chef are warm, friendly, and genuinely kind. The whole place feels like a family home where you are always welcome. It was a full house during my visit, and my dining partner and I were the only people speaking English. That is always the sign you are in the right spot for real, well-loved food.
