"The Chana Saag is absolutely the best & the Vegetable Spring Rolls are so good! They usually give a small portion of rice with the saag so I always have to make more of my own or buy their side of rice but it would be nice if it came with an appropriate portion of rice for how big the entree is. But even still, their food is the best Indian food I've had!"
"I used to order from here all the time bc their Plain Naan is good. But tonight that was the only good part of my meal. The Veg Samosas were so tiny I used to eat only one and save the rest for lunch the next day but today they are half the size they used to be. The chicken vindaloo was closer to ketchup and franks red hot sauce than any actual Indian spices. The potatoes in the vindaloo were perfect circles as if they were out of a can. And the chicken was really fatty dark meat, all this for $40. I want the best for this place but today was not it."

"The Lamb Makhani (Butter Lamb) is astounding. The lamb is super tender and every bite is just a flavor bomb in your mouth. I also love that you can personalize the spice level, as I prefer it spicy and most places don't offer the choice when ordering online. Also love that when my food arrived (it was far so took a good chunk of time) it was piping hot! I will definitely order again."
"The Chicken Tikka Masala was awful, it was watered down as if they accidentally poured a lot of water into the dish. The sauce was extremely thin and flavorless, the chicken was dry. I tried my best but it was just pointless to chew on tough and tasteless food, I threw it in the trash sadly. Never in my life did I think I would say Indian food had No flavor, so disappointed in Begum.
The dish did not come with rice, I had to order it separately, which is normally not a problem, but the other two dishes ordered came with rice and the rice portion with those was twice the size of the tiny $7 side of rice!
The second worst dish was the Shrimp Coconut. This dish was also very thin / watered down. We did not have to throw this one away, but better quality was still expected.
I ordered from Begum years ago when a friend lived in Chatham, it was so very good. The sauces I remember were rich and flavorful, the meat was never tough.
After this experience, I can't trust to order from here again :/"

"The butter chicken was very oily, you only get one piece of garlic naan per $5.35 order, the spicy wasnt actually spicy, and each entre dish is very small for being $20+ dollars each. Not impressed, borderline disappointing. "

"Some of the best Indian food I've ever had! I got the Dhaba Special Samosa (so flavorful, perfect spice level, stayed crispy), Garlic Naan (a classic) and Paneer Tikka Masala because I am vegetarian and it was INCREDIBLE- so creamy & flavorful! I can't wait to try something new soon :-) also huge portions and great prices! "
"Butter chicken was tasty with a nice kick (even at a medium spice level). It's not advertised but it does come with white (basmati?) rice (that's good with the other food but had a slight metal taste by itself). Samosas were delicious-- savory & flakey. Thankful for all the sauces and other saucy items being saran-wrapped with care. "

"Idk where to start. Ok options, there's so many to choose from so you have your pick of the litter. Speed of service was great and time of arrival was accurate. Now for quality, omg the Chicken Tikka Masala was on point paired with the Garlic Naan. The portions I think reflect the price so no complaints there. Then the Gulab Jamun was the cherry on top. Anyone who likes donuts should definitely try it as a dessert. All in all great experience and will order here again!"
"Dear future self: The mild Tikka Masala is actually a medium on the upper border. It's almost too spicy but VERY tasty. However, there is not enough rice for two people to split an entree, so either order some extra rice or have some on hand. "

"I was intimidated by how expensive the dishes were but I took advantage of happy hour and I'm happy I did. "The dal was AMAZING! Spicy, flavorful and creamy. That dish was the highlight. The Paneer Tikka was very good as well, although I would have liked more vegetables in the dish. "First of all, their behavior with customers is incredibly charming. This was one of the best meals I have ever had. The quality of their food is unbeatable. Their food is so good. It is clean and the price of their food is very low compared to other restaurants. You get a lot of food for a small amount of money.I request those of you who are reading these comments of mine to not just take my word for it, but to place an order and see for yourself, then you will understand how good the quality of the food is.I wish this restaurant a bright future. I believe if they continue this food quality then their restaurant will be profitable one day.I don't know who made my meal, but I want to thank him for giving me such a beautiful meal. Thank you again 💟"
"This used to be our go too for fantastic Indian food. Tonight my food arrived swimming in grease and oil - so much so we couldn't eat it.
Also the Raita was like water , in fact inedible also...

"We ordered 1 Kashmiri Naan and 2 Garlic Naan they were all 3 burnt and so hard to chew.
Paneer Butter Masala had extremely hard paneer pieces not fresh at all.
Veg Jalfrezi had mostly potatoes and tiny bit of other vegetables.
Really disappointed with food as we are a big fan of A2b for North Indian cuisine inspite of its each of dishes being more expensive then other local restaurants, we never experienced quality being compromised.

"This was my favorite place for actual Indian. The new menu and recipes have lost the magic imo. Worst item was onion bhaji. Bhajis were oily and mushy like clumped fried paper towels. Seabass Moilee was like tilapia and very fishy. Salmon methi sauce was off. Lassis were tiny and sugary. Bread was stiff and bland. It felt like the chef was out, and random people cooked our meal. " 1. Chicken Tikka Masala sauce is good but the order is almost all sauce, no chicken. And only one serving of rice came with two orders of CTM. Luckily I had some rice and chicken in the fridge. Cut up two breasts and added to the abundant sauce. Hey Red Pepper, how bout adding another thigh or something, it won't ruin your profit on $19 CTM!"

"Best Samosa Chaat in the world. Didnt specify spice level and it came somewhere between mild and medium. Excellent flavor. Chicken Tikka Masala was amazing. Came with veggies which I like. Not overly creamy. "
"Good, but too spicy hot for us, and you can't ask for less hot when you order. We enjoy food with a kick, but not to that extent. And yes, we eat Indian food regularly, understanding that it can be hot if you can't request a milder level of spiciness.
The chaat was excellent. The chicken biryani was well-flavored, with a very generous amount of chicken, but the chicken had a strong flavor, even with all the spices. It was all dark meat, so you expect a strong flavor. This just seemed quite pronounced to us. We picked it out and just ate the rice. I wouldn't order that dish again, but I'd try other menu items based on the good overall flavor."

"very friendly and personable staff! food was an enjoyable asian fusion cuisine. i especially enjoyed the lamb hyderabadi biryani and the thai drunken noodles :)"
"That was the worst Thai Green Curry I have ever had. Flavorless. The rice was over cooked. Extremely small portion for $46. The pineapple was not a good surprise. There were hard spices and onion husks that were left in that shouldn't have been in the dish. The chicken was non existent. The 2. Garlic Naan was ok."

"This was my first time trying this and I loved it so much. The naan was so soft and went extremely well with the butter chicken. Although I didn't really like the portion size. I was still a little bit hungry but the food was amazing"
"Combos are good price. The gobi Manchurian is better than the Gobi 65. Portions are big, had to split with friends. Unfortunately, some veggies in the noodles were undercooked.
I would order again for th Gobi Manchurian or Paneer 65."

"Hands down the best Indian restaurant in New Jersey. Every dish was uniquely delicious and carefully packaged. Outstanding flavor. AND the portions are great---plenty of leftovers. I could taste the love in this meal!"
"Our go to is the Butter Chicken, Rogan Josh Lamb / Lamb Bhuna (all selected spicy) and doesn't disappoint! You can tell that it's fresh with their original spices & ingredients which packs it with flavor. You can't go wrong with the Garlic Naan either, which you also kind of need to finish off the delicious sauce that's left at the end. Tried other Indian restaurants when these guys were temporarily closed when I think they were changing locations, and none of them compared to Dhaba! If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine, you won't regret trying this place out."

"The food is phenomenal. The hot option is actually spicy, unlike other places that don't taste like spice at all. The biryani tastes like my mom's and the chicken makhani is a perfect compliment. This just became my favourite local spot."

"Didnt expect the Spicy Maple Wings to be so juicy and fresh and the Mac & Cheese was so flavorful they must have someone grandma working back there! So good I recommend 100%! "
"Overall the food was delicious, fresh and well executed. The chicken was well seasoned, with flavorful and crispy batter, very large sized tenders of white meat, like half a breast each! They arrived piping hot, but on the verge of being dry. I was disappointed by the waffle, which was bland and basic. I'll just order chicken next time. Fries were perfect, salty and crispy. Our toddler can't handle spice so everything i ordered was "naked", fries too."
