"I've ordered from here so many times over the last 3 or 4 years, from different locations, and literally almost every time they don't put the pomegranate molasses sauce (the thing that makes it different from similar restaurants) on the wrap. I always order it on the side because of this, and sometimes they forget that too, even with me adding an order note asking them to please not forget it in the wrap, or on the side. Tonight's Shawarma Mix wraps didn't have the pomegranate sauce OR the garlic sauce (which they've forgotten once before). Those are listed ingredients, not extras. The meat was dry and chewy tonight, and the moisture in the wrap came from watery lettuce and tomatoes...some water dripped out of the wrap when I first picked it up. You can see in the photo that there's no sauce, a few limp wisps of lettuce, and about two pieces each of turnip and tomato. I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I've finally had enough. How is it so difficult to put the same 5 ingredients in a wrap? I understand a place having an off night, but almost every single time?? I'm sadly not surprised their rating isn't very good because I'm sure I'm not the only one having this experience."

"Hands down the very best Middle Eastern platter I've ever had. I'm someone who loves big, bold flavours and a kick of spice to her food, and this hits all the marks.
The bed of rice was perfectly cooked, with a buttery hint for flavour. There were very generous portions of lamb and chicken, seasoned generously and incredibly succulent.
I topped mine off with the white sauce and the hot sauce, which perfectly complemented the meats. The depth of smoky flavour and the bold kick in the hot sauce make it clear that this is not your run-of-the-mill bottled premade sauce. "Tried this place out after my usual halal place suffered a deterioration in quality. Shah's is a top-tier restaurant not only by halal standards but for cuisine in general. Portions are great, meat is delicious (the chicken moreso, but the lamb is still tasty), they give a generous amount of hummus/chick peas/beans, and they even give you a nice surprise treat to top it all off. The medium spicy dish was completely bland; no salt, no garlic, no ginger, no Indian or Asian spices. Nothing. It had almost raw very strong onions and some chili perfect for medium heat. The chicken had no flavour. Not even salt. The rice was still hard. The food had no aroma. Not good.
The portion for both dish were generous. There was enough chicken and plenty of onions and rice. "

Packaging of the wraps not secure as my partner grabbed his wrap from the delivery bag and the wrap slpped out of its cardboard sleeve onto the floor. We split the second wrap. Taste was good, not mind blowing. Hot spice was very mild. Did theclassic fillings but it is minimal parsley and onion which only one of us found in the final bite (at the closed end of the wrap).
