My favorite meal here is the Ma Po Tofu. One time I ordered it and the owner happened to deliver it. He said that they make it the way it is made at home and if you find it made another way, especially with added ingredients (like peas, carrots, etc...), that is not the real way. As a BYOB we have shared a Saki with the owner who is always ready to make the visit special. I cannot recommend Bamboo enough!"

"Yummy and sooo much avacado on the Kani salad! Super fresh and packaged with care. Love that they let you customize your food as well; I wanted soy paper instead of seaweed wrap in my Tuna avocado roll and it was no problem for them. Their descriptions should explain what comes with your food choices. The pork steamed dumplings are disgusting has oil covering them with a vinegar sauce that supposed be soy sauce. The quality of the food is not good or worth eating at all. Took over an hour to make and had the driver wait so long."

" Crispy String Beans is still a favorite. Tried two different things this time too and both were good: Tom Kha (Small) soup had a tasty comfort-food broth. The chicken added to it was a little dry. "Second time ordering these Crispy String Beans and they are still a favorite. The batter really clings and stays crispy. The pork-skewer apps are very good too (one was a little tough, but still delicious). The foil packet they were wrapped in preserved their juice. See my photo.
The Chicken Wings are ordinary... good enough for that one person in your group who is scared about unfamiliar Thai foods. The smaller pieces were dry; the meat in the larger part of the drumettes was a litte more moist.

A few favorites I keep coming back to: the Veg Grilled Cheese Panini, Dal Makhani, and Hakka Noodles. And honestly, what really sets this location apart are their “Norristown Special” dishes. They don’t feel like random menu add-ons. They taste like true chef specials. I’ve been trying my way through them and I’m genuinely impressed. Every time I think I’ve found my favorite, the next one surprises me.
