"I have ordered from this place several times, and it is consistently amazing even before they had doordash. The Empanadilla de Pollo / Chicken Empanadilla is my absolute favorite, and the chicken inside is so well-seasoned. This is my first time trying the Empanadilla de Jamón y Queso (Ham and Cheese Empanadilla de Jamón y Queso / Ham and Cheese Empanadilla and it was pretty good; the shell and the freshness of these empanadillas alone are enough to make them excellent. I will absolutely be ordering these again."

"macaroni and cheese was good, kinda generic. Loved the Beef Patty flaky and great filling. Curry Goat was amazing, great portion and very flavorful.
I just had one little complaint, I got a phone call from a man who wanted to make sure I knew what I was ordering, i had ordered "veggie rice" and im glad he called cause I really wanted rice and peas and veggies. I specified to him I wanted rice and peas and veggies and when I got my order there was no veggies. 😔
Other than that I will definitely be ordering from here again, food was all around fantastic."
"spinach patty was hard and overcooked. They should not have served that. It was too hard to even eat! The Brown Stew Snapper Fish was EXTREMELY small for $25!! "First time ordering from this location. I was extremely impressed by first the customer service.Thank you for calling to let me know what was out and other great sides. The 4 Pieces Whiting Meal 2 Sides and Baked Chicken was the best I have had in awhile brings you back to real homecooking! Everything was delicious and highly recommended for others to experience. Excellent dasher as well, no complaints! "
"The 8 Pieces Shrimp Meal 2 Sides had big beautiful fried shrimps, tasted delicious, but were a bit soggy rather than crispy - expected with delivery so I don't blame them for that (although if they puncture small holes in their container tops, it would lessen the soggy factor). The yams were also so good, great texture slightly firm but soft, not mush or overly sweet goo like most - would def get shrimp and yams again! The Mac and cheese I did not like, something about it tasted off. The Banana pudding was also disappointing especially considering the price. The flavor wasn't bad, but the texture is so thick and sticky, almost like a taffy. I just couldn't eat it, waste of $10. But like I said the shrimp and yams were amazing, I just wouldn't get the Mac or banana pudding ever again personally"

"i usually don't write reviews but this is probably the best Steak Burrito i've ever had . this will be my third time ordering it this week lol. they give you a great amount of food and it's overall just amazing. also empanadas are very good as well:)"
"I’m new to the area and wanted to get a real feel for this place, so I tried a solid cross section of the menu instead of just one item. I went with the burrito, quesadilla, pastelillo (basically a hot pocket), and the bread pudding. Short version: this place clearly cares about what they’re putting out.
The burrito is a real, true burrito. This is something you’d make for yourself at home. The steak portions are generous and made up of real pieces of steak, not scraps or overcooked filler. The meat is cooked properly, seasoned well, and evenly distributed throughout the burrito. Every bite feels intentional. It doesn’t feel rushed, slapped together, or careless. It actually feels like whoever made it wanted you to enjoy it, which is rare these days.
The quesadilla is right in line with that same level of quality. Again, very well-portioned on the protein. Plenty of steak, good melt on the cheese, and balanced so it’s satisfying without being greasy or sloppy. Simple food done correctly.
The pastelillo was excellent. Think hot pocket, but made by someone who actually respects food. Crispy on the outside, flavorful filling inside, and cooked evenly. It’s the kind of item that’s easy to mess up, but this one was clearly done with care.
Then there’s the bread pudding. This deserves its own mention. It’s rich, comforting, and exactly what bread pudding should be. Soft, warm, and flavorful without being overly sweet or heavy. A perfect way to finish the meal.
Overall, this place delivers something that feels increasingly rare: food that’s made with care. Nothing felt mass-produced, rushed, or careless. Every item tasted like someone actually gave a damn. I’ll absolutely be coming back."

"Good af per usual, sandwhich is huge!!"
"okay.... so my experience was 5/10 poorly represented for the first time ordering here and fifty dollars worth of food to be honest , I had some things and expected it to come in time and well , it took about an hour and more to get here and when it did it was not even mildy warm , they aren't that far from me either. So far the BLT was meh okay it was just something to fill you up , I honestly think you could make one better at home as for the flavors not much and the tomatoes weren't fresh , the rest very normal. The two eggs platter was supposed to come with how the picture is and what it described yet I only received two pieces of bacon and some eggs. The flan was good though very good I didn't expect it to be small for 3.50 but it was good. Muffin good normal muffin. A few things I had ordered were out of stock as well and they replaced it. The french toast could be a bit better also giving the space of the platters like the amount of anything, my strawberries and cream were already warm and the french toast was just okay. The lemonade didn't look or taste like it but it was still a good juice , bit artificial though. So far not bad experience but not great I was actually very displeased and given how I trusted the representation of the food and all I still feel like it must be a good place but definitely just in person like walking near it , not too sure of ordering it at all. It's more of a fill you up but I didn't enjoy my experience. I'm just grateful for food."

"Super yummy lunch! French onion soup was super rich and tasty! Burger was big and juicy."
"Ordered last night on New Years Eve and unfortunately the experience was awful, no exaggeration. We spent $103 on the following:
Loaded Nachos with chili 19.99
We received 3 tons of tortillas with very little cheese burnt on and toppings in seperate timsto build ourselves. Not a horrible idea for the chili which was seperate and in a quart container, but the container of other toppings was unnecessary and awful. It was jalapeño, onions, tomato, and lettuce?? Jalapeños were bottled not fresh, but worse was half a container of lettuce, who puts romane lettuce on nachos?! And the container was 60% lettuce, very little onion, jalapeño, and tomatos. They gave a side of what I can only describe as tomato paste and salsa. I didn’t take a photo of one container of toppings before I had to put the nachos together myself (we were hungry and I added more cheese) but did include a pic of lettuce we didn’t use which was more than half the container.
Fried Calamari with Gorgonzola and peppers $19.99 -- wouldve been ok but they put the Gorgonzolain a container inside the container and it was liquid when we got it since it was so hot! Ive never seen gorgonzola completely melted! Tried to show this in photo. There were also pieces of french fries in our calamari!! This means they use the same oil to fry both!! Thats dirty and its why This means they use the same oil to fry both!! Thats dirty and its why the Fried Calamari tastes like fries.
Daily Special Braised Short Rib Grilled Cheese
$18.99 -- this was my dinner and it was inedible!! It was so soggy that the bread on the bottom half was comletely shredded. I am not exaggerating! I couldn't eat it. I ended up scraping some meat off, and toasting my own bread and cheese with it today, didnt eat it last night. Also upsetting was I ordered onion rings for a $2 upcharge with $16.99 inedible brisket grilled cheese and they gave me fries. See my receipt attached. I gave fries to my son after crisping them in air fryer. I just noticed receipt says they ran out of onion rings but they didnt
Credit me!
Pepper Jack Burger
Burger my husband liked the burger but had to take the long hot peppers off because they were too hot, they were huge but that’s no fault of the restaurant, just too hot for him. The half pound burger was great size and he said at least they didn’t skimp on the bacon. Sadly, his sweet potato fries which cost $2 upcharge were so soggy he couldn’t eat them. I put them in the air fryer which helped a little but he barely ate any.
Kids Cheeseburger Sliders
Our son had kids sliders and French fries and didn’t complain. $9.99
I think this restaurant is new to delivery orders, the packaging is just bad. They should put fried foods on tin foil at least and you never put Gorgonzola inside a tin container with very hot fried food. We order out far too often and this was simply awful on so many levels. It’s bad enough food is soggy but the frying issues, the lack of ingredients, strange ingredients, misplacement of ingredients, not providing what we paid for, no utensils as requested, it was a horrible experience and it’s depressing we spent so much money on it. I do not recommend delivery from this restaurant, nor take out. "
