"we always order the Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) because it is SO flavorful and we love the spice. the Pork Belly Tacos are another favorite because they are consistently tender, spicy, with a nice crunch from the veggies. highly recommend!!! we always order these two with either rice or the Creamy Gochujang Noodles, my wife's personal favorite ❤️"

"I've been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened. Amazing flavors. Great portion sizes. So fresh. Soy garlic chicken Wings phenomenal. Mexican Korean Street Corn great flavor. Korean Cucumber Salad nice crunch and flavor. I'll tell all my friends about this place, and will order many times over."
"Having had Korean Fried Chicken in Seoul, Bonchon has knocked it out of the park! The Drumsticks were crispy, mouth watering spicy and oh so delicious. The Sotteok Sotteok was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the glaze in the rice cakes just added to the experience. The Kimchi is mild enough for those that don't like a lot of spice bit still has plenty of flavor. Definitely will be ordering from Bonchon again!"

"My girlfriend and I tried this place for the first time tonight and the highest compliment that I can give it is. we're already looking forward to ordering it again. I would most highly recommend the wings (which have the perfect level of crunch), the cheese balls which are slightly sweet, and the French fries which have a really unique seasoning. Everything that we tasted on the menu was delicious though! Food arrived hot and fresh! Combo (Wings & Drums) Korean Cheese Ball Seasoned Fries"
"First time trying and wings are delicious! very nice crunch on the outside, inside cooked perfectly. I got the soy garlic - excellent flavor. I wish I had a side of it as a sauce to dip in. Also did not realize that by the size small: 4 wings, 2 drums - that it was two regular size legs, nice surprise! will order again "

"I recently visited this spot and absolutely loved it! My go-to order is the grilled pork Banh Mi—it’s always packed with flavor and perfectly balanced. "the Vegan Pho is unbelievably flavorful. it came with the broth piping hot, the perfect amount of veggies and rice noodles, and a flgenerous portion of sprouts, jalapeños, and herbs.. so fresh and full of flavors. the Crab Meat Rangoon (5 Pieces) was still warm and crispy. super tasty- my favorite place for the rangoons. i will be ordering again, probably soon!"
"I've ordered a number of times before, but this time it was awful. The spring rolls were raw, flavorless, and cold. The kimchi was more of a soup with a generous TWO pieces of tofu. The egg drop soup was horrible and tasted more like gravy. Will not be ordering again."

"The Honey Walnut Chicken looked very unappealing and unappetizing with white goopy sauce-looks like a bodily substance... disgusting. "The best crab Rangoon but needs to come with more sweet and sour sauce. The sesame chicken entree - I appreciate the smaller, crispier chunks of chicken the most but would like more sauces Everything is always fresh even when ordering for delivery."
"Don't normally leave reviews, but here we go. We paid $90 for the worst sushi experience of our lives. Crab Rangoons were the best part minus their temp. Not sure what the pink mystery wrapping was around the Cupid Roll? There were lemon slices, including the peel, hidden under the sauce on the Chef Special Roll. Lemon is all we could taste. The portion size of the Mad Max and French Kiss rolls were small, and similar to the size of $8 regular roll. We would have been better off picking out sushi from Gateway Market or Hy-Vee. This may explain why the restaurant was empty at 7:20pm on a Saturday night. We won't be back."

"Visited France a few years ago and couldn't wait to try this bakery the minute I heard about it. I ordered a few things, but so far have had the croissant and vanilla doughnut. Croissant was very good and much like I remember. But the doughnut... if you don't love that and want to drive hours for that, we can't be friends. Fluffy, soft melt in your mouth doughnut and don't get me started on the vanilla cream. Truly chef's kiss. Haven't tried the peach cake yet or the pain au chocolat (which I'm dying to see if it tastes like I remember), but have zero doubt they're incredible too. My new favorite place."

"
"I thought the Crispy Rolls and Dynamite Mussels would be better especially when you're paying around $13 for only four of them. They changed something about the Akebono Edamame and it wasn't as good as usual. The miso soup was good and the malibu crunch roll was decent enough."

"Food was very good. But $11 for a 5 piece roll (birthday roll) and $8 for 2 pieces of spring rolls is criminal. "This place will wow you! The flavor, portions and price were all perfect. The General Tsao's Chicken is not as sweet and syrupy as you get at other places. It's also fried hard. Both of those were pluses for me. Most people can probably tolerate a 3 spice level. I prefer the 4. Every element of the Combination Fried Rice was well prepared. The beef was not that gray chewy stuff you get other places. It was beautifully seared and flavorful. The shrimp were larger than average and not overcooked. They were well seasoned too. Do yourself a favor and try this place."
"Best Chinese food in the metro! Was devastated when Shang Yuen switched ownership but so happy the family recipes live on through Heavenly! The beef is so tender! The chicken so crispy! "Sea roll maki is tasty & portion size was smaller than expected for an 18$ roll. Bento Box is decent."
"So.. Let's begin with the salmon. The salmon had two asparagus that were welshed and overcooked the salmon was extremely dry and well overcooked no flavor oh orchard crisp I was to Surprised to see a 4oz salmon looking like 2 oz and let down for the additional charge of Lobster mashed potatoes were dry and no lobster flavor. salmon plate was inedible. My clear soup was great. My happy ending maki was okay. The tuna tataki roll was okay as well. Poke bowl was delicious but seem more like a fat cutter and a dessert or inbetweener of switching to dessert. The tuna tataki was well balanced. Ikura nigiri good. Hamachi nigiri was good. And the timely manner for taking over an hour should have been perfect for that timely matter.. will I try it again!?.. At some other time.. Poke bowl shined today overall.."

"My first time ordering from here.. This is what I've been craving for!!
The taste and texture is just perfect. Very flavorful great portions of protein . The rice is just perfectly cooked sooooo good even alone !
Thanks so much!"
"I lived in California for a couple years and discovered poke -- now that I've been back home for a while, this is the best I've found in the state. Great portions, family-run, and the quality is the same as you'd find on the west coast. The "competitor" in Des Moines is nothing compared to here. 10/10!"

"The best pasta dish I've ever had. The chicken is very flavorful and not dry. The pesto sauce is very creamy and super flavorful! It's unbelievable! 10/10"
"The CHICKEN BUCCATINI is the best pesto in town. The MOJO PORK TACOS could use more meat. Once I got the meat to taco ratio to how I like it, I got two tacos instead of 3. I appreciate the generous fresh cheese portions. Too many onions for my liking! It's a mix of pickled and raw red onion. It is quite easy to pick them out, so that's a plus. I believe these tacos were supposed to have pineapple, but i didn't taste any pineapple, and it just left a strong onion flavor in my mouth."

"This was the best food delivery I've had in years. The food arrived promptly, piping hot, the soup was the best I've tasted re flavor, freshness and "fresh from the garden" worthiness. I ordered a med bowl of soup that was filled so generously I didn't want it to end. I savored every bite! Yes, I will order again and again assuming the portion size, freshness, temperature and other factors are consistent. Delish!"

"We recently ordered from 30Hop and had the best meal! Our food arrived exactly as we ordered it and looked even better than the pictures. The Salmon Zen Bowl was one of the best rice bowls I've ever had with a large piece of well seasoned salmon and full of many different fresh veggies. The sandwiches were cooked to perfection and loaded with fresh ingredients. The portions were definitely more than we could eat and tasted great the next day. We can't wait to order from 30Hop again and try more of their amazing food! A great location and a must visit if you are in Ankeny!"
"First time customer, and unfortunately, more of the items I ordered were disappointing than enjoyable.
The Wings: Boneless was easily the best item. I actually ended up using it as the protein for the noodle dish because the crispy chicken that came with the Yakisoba Bowl had a strange texture and wasn’t enjoyable. I’m glad I ordered the boneless wings because they gave me an alternative.
The Truffle Fries were also disappointing. You could smell a slight hint of truffle oil, and you could clearly see the cheese on top, but there was very little flavor overall. They tasted bland and didn’t resemble the truffle fries I’ve had elsewhere.
The Very Berry Salad was another miss. The yogurt based dressing (I’m assuming that’s what it was) was extremely sweet. At first, I honestly thought it was a diluted icing because it was that sweet. I couldn’t eat it. The balsamic that came with it was also extremely thick, almost like a paste or molasses. It just didn’t feel appropriate for a lighter salad with fruit. The dressing should complement the dish rather than overpower it.
Unfortunately, overall, this was not a successful purchase, and I wouldn’t order from here again.
One other thing worth mentioning: there was plenty of room in my bag to properly secure it with staples or tape. It’s always disappointing when a restaurant misses that simple opportunity to provide an additional layer of security and reassurance that the order hasn’t been tampered with. Staples and a stapler are inexpensive, so this seems like an easy step that could improve the customer experience."

"The protein roll was fresh, but a little on the small side. I'm glad I ordered during happy hour for the discount because it's definitely not big enough to be priced at $20. The ramen is packaged seperatly from the broth with is nice so it's not soggy and you get a whole egg instead of half like a lot of places but the pork is SUPER dry. Broth is nice and rich though and taste great."
"The Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen was amazing as always but we decided to also get the Crab Rangoon and Pork Dumpling and.. no. they are tastey but as my pictures will show they are small and not worth the price. it was more than the ramen but way less food."

"I got the Mixed Plate Classic. The meats were so tender and packed full of flavor. The portions were big and I only got the reg size plate. I also got the Mini Pineapple Strawberry Twist Dole Soft Serve®and it was so good and refreshing. I could live off this food. LOL Definitely ordering again."
"Tried the Pineapple Luau Slider Single for the first time... I nearly cried. The meat was literally perfect, it wasn't over-filled, and not stacked high with filler. And the flavor! Oh my days the flavor! It has the tiniest of bites but then has a sweet taste too, so you get almost a candied-like flavoring with extremely mild heat. I think this is going to be my new go-to."
