If you're a texture person you might not like it, it's super super tender like you put butter in your mouth and bit down. It's so gas! 10/10 recommend!! "Food is always good. Is it a bit overpriced? Yes. But I always enjoy and never had a bad experience. Portion is generous and presentation is pretty. Also if you dine in person chef often times will provide something complementary which is always appreciated. One time I went for my birthday and I got a lil apple scented lotion for free lol very sweet staff and chef. Delivery is always nice but dine in once in awhile they have wonderful staff and customer service. Always great from them"
"The Alaska Roll did not look like the photo, the pieces of salmon and crab were huge and not in a good way. The Rainbow Roll was falling apart and the cuts did not make sense. The 911 Roll did not have the dollop of red sauce and had what looked like Tajin on it. The Chicken Teriyaki Bento was not worth 17.95: one gyoza and one little round thing plus no California rolls. Not happy"

"Today was my first time here. First let me start with the staff. Loved being greeted as I walked in the door by the team behind the counter. I was asked if I had a call in order and was told it was being worked on. The guys behind the counter were effortlessly making orders while casually chatting with those picking out the ingredients for their orders. I waited less than two and half minutes at most and was on my way.
What most impressive is the layout of the bowls. Someone had gone above and beyond about presentation. But even more than that it's the freshest fish I have gotten here in Bakersfield and hate to admit this but even fresher than some I had on the coast. They don't skimp on the fish either. The pieces are good sized and melted in my mouth. The seaweed salad was delicious!! For me, that's saying a lot LOL. I'm definitely a convert. This is my new go to for that sushi fix in a bowl."

"I ordered the BBQ & Katsu Mix and was not expecting to get SO much food! The katsu was still crispy, and the chicken and beef were super tasty! Plus a HUGE scoop of Mac salad and plenty of rice and cabbage. My partner and I split the meal and I barely finished my half! We both loved it and this much food for 20 bucks is a great deal.
