"I ordered my usual Mauka to Makai and Musubi Trio and it was delicious as always. The tartar sauce is soooo good with the fish and crispy shrimp. It also has flavorful chicken, savory beef, and crispy katsu. I also decided to try something new - the Garlic Fries. I was pleasantly surprised with the flavor of these! "I got the Ube-banana bread and it tasted horrible. Banana bread is meant to be moist and fluffy this was pure sand in my mouth. I'm not sure if it was a day old and became stale or if it's just how it's supposed to taste. I don't know how possibly ube and banana could make sure a sandy texture. I loved Kona coffee when they are in my neighborhood but on DoorDash it was truly a disappointment. Also the iced creme brûlée latte had no creme brûlée on it. The coffee it self at least at the same quality as I remember. But skip the food items truly a disappointment and makes me hesitate to come back."

"The combo tempura is definitely a PASS. It's pretty common to have at least two pieces of shrimp (the photo even shows two), but this came with one tiny, poorly fried shrimp. Even the veggies were scarce; seems like they went heavy on the fried onions to fill it out.
I ordered the two item bento (salmon teriyaki and california roll). The salmon was squishy and not cooked well all the way through. The sushi rice on the california roll was hard and bland, and the imitation crab seemed like it was also going bad. It had a grainy texture and a fishier taste than normal quality imitation crab from other restaurants. We had one bite and had to toss it. The bento was also missing miso soups for both orders.
I'd expect this from a fast take-out sushi joint, but for these prices, it's a hard "no" from me."

Omelets here are always the right density; fluffy enough to feel light, but dense enough to feel hearty. Pancakes are the best buttermilk pancakes in the south bay. It was simply folded in half with fillings, exactly as I would make at home. It was not fluffy and not seasoned. Bagel was ok, plain, corn meal on the bottom.
All in all everything was very bland and I do not recommend this place for breakfast. "

"I've been really wanting scrambled eggs, but the 3 times I've ordered them from here they've been wildly inconsistent. First: little flakes of hard scrambled eggs; Second: 3 large balls of hard scrambled egg clumps; Third: plain omelet that was still runny, that I had to cook some more before I could eat it. I like well-cooked eggs, so I wish they'd put an option for if you like hard-cooked or soft-cooked scrambled eggs (or other styles). I also prefer scrambled eggs to be clumpy and not smooth omelet style. If I wanted an omelet, I'd order an omelet. The first Matcha Green Latte I ordered from here was very fresh tasting. But this time it was very normal tasting and in a small cup--it's not worth the high price. The Kashmiri Pink Chai came topped with pistachios this time, and was very comforting but lukewarm and didn't have a stopper in the top, so it spilled a bit. Still love their Potatoes, but each order can be different (some have a LOT of scraggly bits, which I like, but not a whole box of them, and others are mostly larger potatoes), so it helps that I order a couple orders and can eat some now and save some for later. Wish they'd improve consistency on the scrambled eggs or put in options or a way I can tell them how ilike it. "
