On top of that, the tortilla was advertised or implied to be house-made, but it clearly wasnāt. It tasted exactly like a store-bought tortilla, with no freshness or homemade flavor at all.
The arroz con gandules was also a letdown. It was very bland, and the only flavor that came through was the cilantro topping. The rice itself lacked seasoning and depth.
Overall, this meal was not worth it. Between the mostly-fat carnitas, the store-boughtātasting tortilla, and the bland rice, the quality was disappointing. I wouldnāt order this again."
