Udupi Palace mentions that some of its items are up to 70% less than in the area, something I found to be true only on one of my items the Mulligatawany Soup. This was a bowl of brown liquid soup with nothing noticeable in it other than broth and a few pieces of spice!
As I looked through most of the entrées, I was worried that so many of them were fried that they would not travel well. The masala dosa arrived lukewarm, and not much taste. I do not like leaving a negative review! Especially for my first one. However, I spent over a decade living blocks from Devon Avenue! Before I found the restaurant that I used to love, which moved, I spent five years or more trying many different Indian restaurants! Usually you end up with leftovers, the amount was slightly less than I am used to getting. In conclusion, I would not order from this restaurant again. I did not like sounding so harsh, but what good is a review if it is not completely honest!"
