"pizza shell was upside down. these are premade square typical of the area so the smooth top you apply the sauce to was used as the bottom resulting in a greasy shell the texture of a burned tortilla. They no longer spread their sauce which leaves half the pizza slice just crust. Their cheese blend is now not a blend, and just oily mozzarella. The quality has greatly declined, while the prices have skyrocketed during a time where even rent isn't affordable."

"so I got a cappuccino. I did select half and half instead of 2% milk, so I know it's heavier. I selected the sweet vanilla foam topper. This is what I got. there was no sweet foam on top and the drink is too creamy.
I always get it with either half n half or whole milk, and it's never all blended like this. The Turkey Bacon, Cheddar & Egg White Sandwich was stuck to the inside of the bag, I'm guessing the little bit of cheese that was on it melted to the bag, the eggs are cold and falling apart and the one piece of turkey bacon is so chewy and rubbery. The Butter Croissant was the best of all, but it wasn't warmed up. Tastes a little stale.
I know delivery orders aren't going to be the same as if I ordered it to eat in house, but this is very sub par. Especially when I spent almost $9 on the cappuccino and $25 for the 3 items."

"The Bowl Chick n' Noodle is always a great soup. No shultz, always hearty and the broth is perfect made. It's not salty, greasy; a genuine homemade chicken soup that you would enjoy in your grandmother's kitchen. It has a good portion of protein (chicken), and long-cooked mirepoix (carrots, celery and onions). Never fails as a lunch on its own because of the depth of the soup and light but flavorful broth.
The Helen Schwartz, I have attached some photos and allow everyone else form their own opinions; but the meat, while hearty in serving, seems more like corned beef as opposed to pastrami. It was still an excellent sandwich; the rye bread was fresh, not overloaded with mustard (I ordered without the sauerkraut because I simply don't eat it for fear of food poisoning. Just so I am clear, I have never experienced food poisoning at Hometown ever, but with delivery I simply don't feel it's worth any risk. But, while the meat is delicious and plentiful; I attached a photo to demonstrate. Pastrami is usually a long, thin strip with a smoke ring and has a distinct taste and texture. This seemed, tasted and looked much more like corned beef rather than pastrami; but still a great sandwich as I enjoy the occasioal corned beef too.
I like to try and keep my business local; and Downtown Deli has fresh, hearty and delicious meals at good prices. I enjoy their lox occasionally. But, they've never disappointed me "

I got the brisket I was shocked with how little flavor there was, how dry it was and the very little bit of flavor you occasionally got to taste was way too smokey. I was extremely excited about the creme brulee cheesecake it was $9.50. I thought you'd get a mini cheesecake for that price. It was literally single THIN slice of cheesecake. And there was absolutely No sugar shell crust on top like a regular creme brulee. It was just awful. Knowing I paid almost $10 for a slice of cheesecake that you can get at any other restaurant else for $4, maybe $5. The only thing that was OKAY out of my whole order was the mac and cheese, it was decent, it wasn't knock my socks off good but on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it around to six and a half maybe 7. I would highly suggest just skipping this place because it's way overpriced and not even good."
