The Chips /Salasa and the margaritas are good, but they refuse to put prices on the drink menu, so basically they can charge you whatever they want. We ordered the "house margarita" on two different occasions and they charged different prices. Also, be forewarned the house marg is huge, has 2 shots, and is enough for two people.
The food ranges from just okay to terrible, but the chips/salsa and margaritas are great, so worth it for that alone. Ambiance is fun too."

I had gotten upset with a past carry out when pico was added to a quesadilla, I can not eat the raw onion. It was close to their closing time so they could do nothing for me. Since I had not specified no pico, I guess it was my fault, today's unfriendly manner could be related, but he is normally not friendly to me.
I did notice that he was polite and friendly to the man who checked out before me.

Villanorte really stands out on DoorDash. The food arrived fresh and clearly just made — not greasy, not heavy, and definitely not like a chain. Everything tasted homemade in the best way.
What surprised me most is how clean it feels. I’ve never ordered Mexican food and actually felt good afterward until now. Full of flavor without being oily or overdone. It’s comforting without being too much.
They also sell homemade tamales, which is huge. You don’t even need to go to downtown Detroit for good tamales anymore. I just had a dozen delivered and, honestly, the quality was unreal, better than a lot of places people swear by. Fresh made daily, their grandmothers recipe, and clearly not mass-produced.
