"My okra was burnt, my bread was 1/2 cooked :( the bbq beans tasted like they were poured out of a can.
But my brisket and chicken were delicious!"
"I had HIGH hopes for this place but after getting the 3 Meat Plate with chopped and sliced brisket and the ribs with beans and potatosalad. only thing I ate was the potatosalad sadly. ribs had 2 bites of meat on them and VERY thin. the brisket smelled like a septic tank. the roll was just a frozen small dinner roll and the 2.00 coleslaw i got was 4 spoon worth. im sad upset this place looked like it was going to be great and it wasn't at all."

"Bbq sauce was smoky it was amazing meats were extremely flavorful the bread I thought would maybe be rolls or something but it was just sliced bread nonetheless it was a great amount of food for the price 10/10 highly recommend"
"Man o man. Delicious. The sliced beef sandwich had so much meat I could have made two sandwiches. The portion sizes for the sides are big. The taste was amazing, the greens and green beans were amazing. Food was hot and have some left for dinner. You can tell it was recently cooked due to the freshness. Hidden gem. Will definitely get it again."

"the big knockout potato is my favorite item and has a very big flavor on it.. the ribs on top of the potato is very tender. this is a huge potato and so worth the the price.🥰"
"The big knockout was a disappointment from previous order. For the price it's too salty and the customizations aren't honored. A waste of $ and I refused to eat it taste like the ribs were had extra sauce and potatoe was bland and didn't have any sauce on it. Do not order it's definitely inconsistent from previous orders."

The ribs were cooked with perfection. The sauce is delicious. The green beans and the dirty rice were cooked the way l love them.
The price was very fair. Will order again and again.Thank you for such good food and service."
"We were
expecting more of the Beef Trio for the cost. The rib was tough and dry. The links were ok and the brisket which is what we really wanted was enough for my great grandbaby only. The potato salad was just that and the beans were too. Next time I will go pick it up maybe it will be more. Not worth $30 regardless."

"The 3 meat plate was a waste of money. I could go to several other nearby locations that sell great barbecue and get more for my money. Very small portions- I received 2 very small ribs, half piece of sliced beef, and 5 slices of jalapeño sausage. Go to a different barbecue spot."

"Spring Creek DeSoto always gets my order wrong—whether it’s delivery or pickup, there’s bound to be something major missing or ignored. From a dozen dinner rolls left out to two missing baked potatoes in a single order, or even mix-ups with salads etc. But I always forgive them. Why? Because the food is fresh and delicious.
The in-person crew? Adorable—I can’t get mad at them. For home-style food in this neighborhood, it’s as reliable as it gets. And honestly, I’m fond of their baked potatoes and Coconut Cream Pie. Surprisingly, the pie doesn’t spike my glucose as much as I’d expect. The Mac and Cheese? Trustworthy and delicious. Their white meats are tender and juicy, though the beef is a bit saltier than I’d like. But I could eat their veggies all day.
If they’d just get my orders right, I’d give them 5 stars all the way."
"Ribs old and hard. Okra plate half full. Poor packaging need to staple bag or use paper bags so it can be sealed"

"Banana pudding was 2/10 at best. Loaded baked potato was 3/10 at best. Baked potato didn't have much meat, and didn't come in a to go container. It was wrapped in foil so didn't have much meat inside. Much better options in Desoto or Lancaster. You can tell these ppl don't care about their product. "

"Recieved my food to go with no silverware or napkins. Food is super expensive for low quality meat. The meat on the ribs was dry and when I tried to take a bite, I bit through the bone which was like a sponge. By far the weirdest and grossest experience I have ever had eating barbecue."

"The pound of Small End Ribs smelled old/burnt, looked old, and tasted old/burnt. They were extremely dry, hard, and tough. Of the whole pound, we probably got two ribs worth of rib meat. These are usually my go-to. I was definitely disappointed today. It was definitely not worth the price."

"Thank you so much! My Mom has a degenerative disease and recently it's made it hard to chew and swallow most foods. But she LOVES catfish. I am so thankful your catfish is always perfectly cooked and not overly fried so she can enjoy it. She is happily having her catfish, mac and cheese and yams right now and I love that you've given her the opportunity to have real (and good) food! *she doesn't know it yet, but the banana pudding is up next and she's going to be too tickled. My only complaint: I should've ordered more catfish because now I want some too!!!"
"OMG!!!! I loved this place. This was my first order and the Ribs was tender and falling off the bone. Fried cabbage and Mac/cheese 10/10. Loved it. Only complaint is $3 for a can soda. The portion was adequate and everything was to temperature so it was a prefect meal"

"Absolutely delicious! We have had BBQ from almost everywhere in Dallas area and can say this is honestly one of the best we've ever tried. 10/10. Recommend brisket and potato salad! Mac and cheese amazing "
"If you haven't tracked down this truck yet, you're doing it wrong. The brisket is hands-down some of the best I've had—melt-in-your-mouth tender with a deep smoke ring and rich, peppery bark.
And do NOT skip the sides! The poblano mac and cheese is a complete game-changer—super creamy with just enough roasted poblano kick to cut through the richness. Oh, and the ribs? Absolute perfection. They hit that sweet spot where the meat pulls effortlessly off the bone without turning to mush, packed with incredible smoky flavor.
Great food, fast service, and huge portions. I’ll definitely be back (probably tomorrow)."

"The Joey Sirloin* (5 oz) was ordered medium rare, I would call it cooked to medium rare but felt like medium well. Very tough and hard to cut. The Bloomin' Onion® was actually good tasting however the bottom of the container was full of moisture and the whole thing was soggy. I know that was mostly because I had it delivered but the steak had no reason to be so over cooked. 6/10 meal. However for 15$ all together including tip it wasn't bad for the money. Then the Banana Salted Caramel Cake should be renamed the Pecan Cake, there were so many pecans on this piece of cake you could not take any banana flavor at all and the caramel was so sweet there was not a hit of it being salty! I would have given it 1/2 star but there weren't any half stars available! This meal was a WASTE OF $50, and the Smokey Rose should go back to the drawing board and start again! On top of this it took almost and hour and a half to get my correct ordered to me because the Take Out person at the Smokey Rose gave my driver the wrong food to begin with! I will NOT be eating at the Smokey Rose ever again! Personally I feel the Smokey Rose should refund my money because I had to go get myself something else to eat! Shame on them for charging such exuberant prices for such awful food!"

"Aloha! This was my first time trying these classic Hawaiian dishes. The short rib and Char-Grilled Chicken were tender, juicy and flavorful. Next time, I'm ordering extra sauce! So, very delicious! I feel like a well kept secret was revealed to my taste buds. Thank you. Aloha."
"First time trying this place. Musubi was a bit dry for me. I like it with sauce on the rice. Overall I appreciate the spam was grilled to perfection. BBQ mix plate portion was good for the cost. Shockingly the meat was very flavorful. The Mac salad was good but I felt it was missing something. I would re-order from here again."

"Turkey Leg was perfect. Brisket was juicy and flavorful and the so was the chicken. Definitely recommend this place. Way more quality AND value than any BBQ Joint I've tried in the area!
Would order again."
"My wife enjoyed the bake potato with brisket. I had the sampler, and it has a lot of meat to sample! The meat was seasoned and delicious. I had two sides, macaroni & the cowboy beans. Didn't like the mack & cheese, but the beans was good. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase. "

"Omg soooo good!! Brisket is perfectly smoked and the ribs are so tender. Very smoky flavor, love it. "
"Mac & Mac & Cheese (Hot) was not good very bland and tasted funny. The portion size is very small esp compared to other BBQ places like Ten50 or Pecan Lodge and it wasn't that good. I gave it a try but tbh it's not worth it charred batkia cut off the brisket, and ribs were dry. Save your money! "

"Got the Hawaiian chicken and fried chicken with white rice and Mac salad. They are consistently good and well packaged. Taste fresh and tasty."
"Delicious - I got the spicy Hawaiian Impossible Beef Bowl with Mac salad and cucumber salad and wish it never ended. I've had their pineapple before and also wish I ordered some this time! Super fresh flavors that were layered and complementary. It's a bit pricey compared to the portion but worth it for the convenience and lack of options around!"

"I ordered the brisket sandwich. It was just too much. The sandwich itself was sooo heavy. Also the sandwich had extra items on iOS that I'm not sure what they were so I took the meat off and dipped in bbq sauce. The meat and sauce were delicious!!

"Really the best meal I have truly had in awhile. I chose to order for delivery the Atlantic Salmon* which came with steam broccoli 🥦 & rice 🍚 pilaf. The aroma from the bag dropped 🫳🏾 off at my front door was magical . As I took a small portion of the oven roasted Atlantic Salmon* and placed it in my mouth it was moist and flaky pure joy . The broccoli 🥦 & rice 🍚 pilaf also melted in my mouth. I didn't want to stop eating such a scrumptious meal but I had to refrain myself & placed leftovers in the refrigerator. Bravo 👏🏽 hats 👒 off to the culinary team at the restaurant. 😉 Last but definitely not least I washed my meal down with a very tasty Shirley Temple ."
"Thank goodness I wasn't hungry . 😂. The look on my face when I opened the box was pure shock 😲. The California Club Flatbread seemed appropriate to a child , not an adult, and if a adult only one . if someone wanted to share they maybe a bit displeased if they were really hungry . It looked like a giant saline crackers . My drink of choice here is always a Shirley Temple .🥰😍🎉🎊"

"I love the baked tater and tater salad from this place. They season their food so well. My baked tater has the pulled pork and chicken breast. I usually skip the cheese and sour cream, but it's good with everything on it as well. The barbecue sauce really sets it all off.I love this place."

"3 meat plate is very flavorful ecerytime. brisket is always tender, ribs fall off the bone, and the greens are a must get and mac and chees..... wash it down with some tea-lade. then you must go back to try the in house pizza...... great crust and creamy cheese with awesome toppings, ADULT PIZZA!"
"For the price, the Loaded Baked Potato was smaller than expected. The only ingredient that was plentiful was the meat; however, it was found to be very hard and not jucy as expected for brisket. No sour cream was found with very little cheese, and the other toppings found on a loaded baked potato. This was not the first potato that was ordered from Smokey D's; however, it was the most necked in relation to cheese, sour cream, onions, etc."

"The Yummy Beef Ribs were delicious! Good flavor and very tender. TheYummy Chicken Caesar Salad was amazing. The chicken was delicious and there was plenty of it."
"I have ordered brisket from many restaurants over the years, but this was my first time trying it from Yummy Burgers, and unfortunately, I was disappointed.
I ordered 4 lbs of brisket, and when it arrived, it was swimming in oil, as shown in the picture. I’ve had brisket by the pound from many other places, and it’s usually nicely sliced with only a small amount of juices at the bottom of the container. This brisket, however, was excessively oily and didn’t contain any proper slices. Instead, it seemed mashed up and mixed together, with very few whole pieces.
I love their burgers and have always enjoyed them, but based on this experience, I don’t think I’ll be ordering the brisket again."
