On the otherhand, The banchans here are soooo good! It was actually the highlight for me. They were all delicious!!! I would actually order a set if banchan alone. The tofu had a sour taste that seemed like it had expired; the sourness was definitely in the tofu and not the sauce. the shrimp were overcooked, dry and mealy. I ordered extra spicy, and it was mild. at least the previous owner had fresh food and a tasty sauce, so if it was under spiced, it still had a good taste. I dont know what the green herb was, but there was zero basil flavor. The eggplants were tough and rubbery. The rice felt like it was cooked at least one day before and left on the counter to dry out. lastly the egg rolls and the sauce were a major flavor disappointment. I would have not liked the food, even at half price, but given the price, the last thing I expected was dry, rubbery, mealy, flavorless food. Definitely felt ripped off. I usuallt try a place a few times before writing them off, as bad as this was, I will not go back."

My only complaint isn't really with the restaurant so much as it is with Door Dash; the AI generated menu descriptions are awful. Many of them are redundant or poorly worded, and some aren't even intelligible. There's items on the menu I've been curious about but haven't tried because the descriptions are so unclear. Door Dash choosing to implement AI item descriptions without review is a good way to get someone hurt if they have an allergy. Again, Dumpling Day, delicious and I'll be a regular customer for a long time. Door Dash, I want to actively stop using."

It came with its vinegar sweet sauce, wish they would have given a little more though as after a dip or two, not much more left to dip the other 3 rolls.. Though the sauce cup was only half full to begin with. Pad see ew was a nice balance flavor but a little underwhleming. lt could use a little more umami (like dark soy sauce), it had a addition of cabbage, not something im used to & not needed. The star was the 42. Yellow Curry. WOW! The curry was sooo flavorful and delicious. One of the better curries I have tasted! Must try!!!! You wony be disappointed! It did not taste watered down like some unfortunately other restaurants do. Right amount of protein to veg to curry soup ratio!! Perfect! My only concern was the portion size ratio. I felt there was more rice than the curry. Other than that, for the most part, I would order other food here to try. My only complaints are the thick 2+inch noodles that overlapped one another leaving some noodles flavorless and the fried tofu ordered with had a little strange after taste? Maybe get a different protein is what I would suggest. Other than that, though it looked honestly bland it was pretty flavorful..at least some of the noodles were. Crab Rangoon were alright. For the size, filling was portioned ok. Yellow Curry was honestly good in terms of the base though I wish it was more creamed with coconut...it had so so much potatoes and very little protein. "I usually get beef, but was craving chicken pho today. Pros: the beef and chicken broths are consistently good. I always know what to expect. Cons: like the way the broth is consistently good, the chunks of chicken breast are ALWAYS tough and dry as can be, both in person and delivered. The first time I thought, "Maybe they accidentally overcooked it. It's easy to do that with breasts." Several months later, I ordered the chicken pho again and had the same thought as the first time. Then my partner ordered it a couple times and he said it was dry. While I generally appreciate consistency, this is the kind I can do without. Has it stopped me from ordering the chicken pho? Obviously not. I guess I'm just a glutton for punishment. The second and final con also has to do with, you guessed it, consistency. You have the option to choose the default regular size or upgrade for $1 to the large. I have ordered both sizes, but typically upgrade to the large because why not? The issue here is that the portion size varies from order to order. The large order I got today had tons of that dry chicken that I apparently love and an ample amount of noodles, broth, bean sprouts, etc. I couldn't finish it in one sitting. But the last time there were only three pieces of chicken, a small portion of noodles, and maybe 3/4 cup less broth. The time before that had more stuff than the previous order, but less than my current order. Not sure how they determine what makes the large size large and the regular size regular, but someone isn't following protocol. Despite my somewhat critical review, I do really like this place and will continue to give them my money. "
