"I would give one star but I’m giving 2 to be polite. My order was completed quickly, as I was hoping they didn’t rush or use old food. I agree that they are skimpy on the potatoes and corn, you get one of each. I spent $62.14 on the shrimp w/ head & crab legs and I regret spending that. The crab & corn was the best thing out of the order, the potato was okay but still tasted a little bland like the shrimp. The tip of the shrimp tasted mushy and not the most fresh. That made me lose my appetite and I will be throwing the rest out. I should’ve ordered the fried fish or something. Decent portions but not satisfied at all with the taste and lack of flavor."

"Now I've had my fair share of Southern restaurants, and I can be honest and say I was quite scared that I was going to be disappointed. However, I was blown away. I don't even write food reviews but I have to give credit where it's due. The fish was fresh and had a clean and light taste 9/10. The collard greens remind me of grandmas cooking 8/10. And the yams were heavenly 10/10 !! Which blew me away the most because I typically hate yams made from scratch. They almost taste like sweet potato pie!!The cornbread was about a 7/10 for me. It was not nasty just not my preference. I didn't really care for the buffalo wings but my brother loved them. My only complaint would be the Mac and Cheese. I can't place my finger on why I don't love it, but it's gets a 4.5/10 from me. The portion sizes are generous. And I will definitely be ordering again anytime I'm craving some soul food.
