I don't usually get boneless chicken anything as it's more likely to be dry but the Sweet and Spicy Boneless Fried Chicken / 닭강정 was perfect. Genuinely have no notes. Each dish had 2-3 servings so I saved half in the freezer for a day I'd desperately need some heavy s(e)oul food and I'm so glad I did. The tteokbokki reheated in the microwave like new, as did the chicken in the air fryer. I love that they use real tteok too because they never got stale like the wheat ones you find in microwaveable tteokbokki. I ordered the JUMBO Beef Pepper Rice with extra green onions, egg, and sliced onions. The dish alone cost $22.43, and my total DoorDash bill was $33.06.
What arrived was a small, underwhelming portion consisting mostly of rice, a limited amount of beef, and some corn. The added egg and sliced onions were not clearly identifiable. For a dish advertised as "JUMBO," the actual portion was shockingly disappointing and looked nothing like the generous serving pictured on the menu.
Charging premium prices while delivering such poor portion value is unacceptable. I expected a substantial beef rice meal, not a mostly rice-filled takeout bowl.
Terrible value for money. I would not order from this restaurant again and cannot recommend it."
