"First time trying this place. What went well: their Pound of Smoked Wings - my son enjoyed. I tried 1 of them- they're truly smoked- the flavor was excellent did not need sauce. I ordered the Southern Fried Shrimp Moe Boy it was a balanced sandwich. I got shrimp and slaw in every bite. It wasn't messy to eat, and the shrimp were cooked well. Their corn bread is quite unique and sent me back to childhood- it's a little sweet, a little spice - just right.
Their sides- for funsies- and sampling- I ordered the coleslaw, baked beans, and Mac and cheese. The coleslaw is vinegar based and they season it with celery salt- it's quite nice and tasty- I would order this in bulk if it's an option. Their Mac and cheese... I mean- it ain't southern Mac and cheese .. the baked beans- done right. They did not add any meat or extras. Just classic. Overall- this place nails classic bbq. That Mac and cheese needs to have a meeting with the manager though for a performance review as soon as possible."
