"The Gallo pinto is on point! The papusas are good. I think they need to salt the masa just a little more but they make them well! The Desayuno Nicaraguense is so bomb! Very comforting. The papusas were delicious. We had the bean a cheese and jalapeños and cheese. The pickled cabbage was on point and full of flavor.
The not good:
The fries were undercooked, soggy and tasted like oil. Sadly we threw them out. Also the food was not even started when we got there even though we scheduled our pickup ahead of time and they appeared to not be busy.
In conclusion we will be getting food there again. "

I like that they added all that in my quesabirrias, but the fries had no flavor, no type of salt, which i was pretty bummed about, the were also still kind of raw. We have been mildly disappointed for about a year but we really enjoy the quality of the food and the prices are very good compared to other Taqueria's. However, I think I may have found a big part of the lack of flavor problem. It's the refried beans! I usuallly get a burrito but I decided to get a plate this time around so that I could taste each individual component individually. And Viola the beans literally have zero spices and zero salt so in effect when inside of a burrito the refried beans actually zap the great tastes of the rice and meat and all of the other good stuff. Seriously! I added a bit of salt to the refried beans on my Plato and damn what a difference. I some of the beans, rice and grilled chicken into a tortilla and that was it!
They probably won't read this review but if you do, just add some flavoring to your beans!"

The Seafood Burrito bowls was bland. The rice was the only thing with flavor. Nothing else was seasoned. Shrimp had no flavor. And the dolop of guacamole was less than a tablespoon and felt like it was something that spilled into the bowl by accident.

The menudo is very good, the broth has good flavor and the tripe is cooked great and soft to chew, I also bought a carnitas Taco Regular which was also very good.
