Super flavorful, lots of meat + other fillings but still well balanced, and the portions are fantastic. You definitely get your money's worth. I think about that chicken sandwich all the time, it was so damn good. And such a good price for what you get. I also recommend getting the side order of fries and a drink, as it's cheaper than getting the fries by itself + the portion of fries is pretty big. The sauces on the side were also so delicious (that garlic sauce is SO garlicky and yummy, + the tzatziki and chili sauce are also bomb. The tahini was good but not as flavorful as the other sauces. "I'm a vegan and, through a comedy of errors, ended up stranded in Anaheim after a day at a NAMM show - and in a hotel room overnight. A nice gesture, and this tells me this is an establishment that cares about its customers! Very thoughtful of Wally's (and quite rare these days). Not sure if this perk comes with every order or because I was a new customer, but whatever the case, I will now be a returning customer. NOTE: The location I ordered from (Costa Mesa Kitchens) is a shared kitchen situation with no indoor or outdoor seating, so order here for takeout (as I did), or maybe eat in your car (there's an attached parking lot for about a dozen or more cars). "Never thought I would leave Open Sesame a bad review but I have to in this case. We ordered Tabouleh Salad, Baba Ghannouj, Kibbi, Hummus and Chicken Tawook 8 pc.
Everything tasted good but this was the most expensive Mediterranean restaurant we've ordered food from and it had the smallest portions. Kibbi was small compared to other places. The hummus could not have been more than 6 oz and same goes for the Tabouleh (with pita bread it was $21.55).
They also forgot to give us the Baba Ghannouj.
Won't be ordering DD from them anymore, unfortunately. Our local place is just as good (with the exception of the hummus) with larger portions and a little bit cheaper.
