"When I placed this order I was soooo hungry and you know how big your expectations are when you're hungry and your food finally arrives. La Islita did not come to disappoint. Every single thing was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The portion is enough for me to eat off of it at least three days times. The Carne Frita / Fried Pork Chunks was crisp on the outside but tender and juicy and the mofongo made me want to salsa just a little while I ate it. Don't even get me started on that beef Empanadillas / Turnovers. Not only was everything delicious it arrived fresh and hot, perfectly sealed. I definitely will be ordering from La Islita again!"

It was maybe 6 or 7 bites of rice. The Bao was incredinly dry and grainy. I have never tried it before, but iwiuld never order it again. The potstickers were burt hutthey were very falvorful and the only thing jlioed in this meal. Very disappointed in serving sizes for how much it cost!!"

"The sushi is great. Other dishes not so much. I ordered a poke bowl with lettuce and all my selected extras were avocado. I received a lot of lettuce with maybe 10 small cubes of fish and less than half an avocado chopped into small cubes. Complete waste of money. I have had clear soup from other restaurants. I realize that it is a side soup and not much to be expected of it. But theirs is laughable. Literally salty brown water with four very tiny slices of mushroom on top. Nothing else. And expect to pay extra if you ask for extra wasabi and soy. $2.25 more. Give me a break. You're running a sushi restaurant. These are like ketchup packets and napkins...
Bottom line is if you are craving sushi theirs is great, but don't waste your time or money on the rest of the menu."

"The pesto bread had like a dry pesto dusting rather than sauce. It also came with a wimpy sized, tiny cup of marinara for dipping. The salad likewise came with a very tiny cup of dressing.
