The Talavera was cold when it arrived and I could have forgiven that because a quick pop in the microwave or oven can fix that but the dish was terrible tasting. Thank goodness I also ordered a side of rice which was delicious as always, otherwise I would have went hungry because the Talavera was inedible for me. My favorite is their Cobb salad, which is a large salad at a good price, which is hard to find in this town. I also like that they let you alter your ingredients. Myself, for example, I can easily remove the cheese from the salad but just clicking one button. This is also hard to do on other restaurant sites.

"I was really disappointed with this meal. The container looked full when I first opened it, but once I moved the food around, there was a huge empty space and the portions felt much smaller than expected. For the price I paid, I expected a lot more food. The chicken was overly sauced and some pieces were hard while others were soggy. The noodles lacked flavor and seemed like they had been sitting for a while. The fried rice was plain and didn’t taste fresh.
The presentation wasn’t great either. Everything was piled on one side, making it look like the container wasn’t filled properly. I felt like I got more rice and noodles than the actual entrée. The meal wasn’t hot when I received it, and the quality just didn’t match what I was expecting.
I’ve ordered Chinese food from a lot of places before, and this was one of the more disappointing experiences. Between the small portions, uneven quality, and lack of freshness, I don’t feel like I got my money’s worth. Hopefully they improve their portions and food quality in the future, but based on this experience, I wouldn’t rush to order again."

Then we come to the masterpiece: the **sweet and sour chicken**. DoorDash gives you the option to add sweet and sour sauce for $2. Naturally, I assumed this meant *extra* sauce.
Nope.
Apparently the “sweet and sour” part of Sweet and Sour Chicken is now a paid DLC. If you don’t spend the extra $2, congratulations: you have purchased Chicken™.
The fried and steamed dumplings themselves weren’t terrible, but whatever sauce they send with them tastes like someone rinsed out a bottle of BBQ sauce with water and decided that was good enough. The dumplings genuinely taste better completely naked than dipped in it.
So, to recap: half-filled egg rolls, rationed rice, dumpling sauce that actively makes the dumplings worse, and Sweet and Sour Chicken where the sweet and sour costs extra.
At this point I’m surprised the bag was included for free.

The pickle had the perfect crunch and the onion rings were massive and delicious.
The bacon on the burger was cooked just right and with a delicious smoky flavor. The burger itself was juicy, fresh, and had that perfect grilled flavor. I ordered it medium rare, and the chef nailed it. Don’t even get me started on the cheesecake. It tasted just like a glazed donut but with a fruity, well-balanced twist. I’m officially in love, it’s definitely a new cheesecake flavor.
