Both of our gyros were absolutely stuffed with ingredients and if you were worried about there being only a drizzle of white sauce, no you weren't- there was plenty, and it was super tangy and fresh tasting. "First..these empanadas are stuffed with your choice of fillings! 2 can be a meal for me.
The Jerk Chicken Empanada was my favorite hands down! I loved it! If you're not a fan of heat...this may not be for you but, try it anyway..lol!! This had the right amount of heat, wasn't dry, was filling and tasty.
The Beef Empanada (#2), was very good and overstuffed! Flavorful and filling.
I would have loved to try the Beef and Cheese Empanada but they were out..
:( The restaurant replaced with a Meatball Parm Empanada. It wasn't bad, but not something I would want in an empanada (this is my personal preference).
The Chicken and Cheese Empanada was really stuffed with chicken. However, I did not taste any cheese, therefore it was a little dry. It was still good. I think the amount of chicken included needed a little moisture.
BTW..my family and I shared these empanadas and they contributed their opinions."
