"5/5
I order from Dilli Wala regularly and the food never disappoints. Always fresh, packed with bold, authentic flavor, and cooked to perfection. The night staff is super attentive and gets every detail right. Easily one of the best restaurants on DoorDash — consistently delicious and reliable!"
"Ridiculous, will never recommend to anyone. The taste of the food never goes with the restaurant name. Yesterday i ordered chilli potato and samosa from there. When i was ordering i was womdering why 2 piece samosa is for 6 dollars. Then i thought it would be good just like the delhi samosa but when i recieved it....it was like this traingle samosa shown in pitcure. It was very disappointing to see that they charge 6 dollars for these 2 small samosa which is easily available at datta food co. For 1 dollar 5 pieces. And the chilli potato was like pathetic. It looked like they have made the fries in the morning and when order received they just put masala and veggies and packed, as there were no gravy also. Chilli potato is supposed to be hot fresh and gravy. Being from delhi, i know how chilli potato should be.
There is no option of 0 rating otherwise i would have given that.
If owner is reading requesting him to please atop fooling people or degarding the name of delhi. Delhi has much more delicious food than you offer."

"I don't know much about curry but this was great. A bit hot for me, but not for my son.! I mistook a dessert as a main course ( labels please) but it was fine with the rice. We were going to have a picnic on my bed. I got lamb biryani. The outside wrapping paper is beautiful but the seal on the bottom opened up & Tons of saffron rice biryani fell all over my bed! They do not say this side up-Open on the bottom! If only. It was still warmish hot. It was a huge amount of rice. More than 2 slender adults could eat at once. I woke up today wanting to eat some more this morning. Im not really a rice person, but this was flavoured so well. The biryani did not look like the photo and I didn't know what went with it as not indicated. The other dishes weren't labelled either. I don't know if we had everything if not. I hope so as it was expensive and more to the point, I wanted to try everything.
I can only assume everything was fresh as a lot of spice and sauce can cover up the basic lamb flavour. These all worked well together. I did not know what the white sauce was but it was a bit like thinned yogurt. Too bad they didn't include a container those coloured seeds- fennel or caraway?to have afterwards-like fortune cookies are added to Chinese orders. It woukd be a nice touch. I got lamb curry but no vegetables! and a huge, salted, flour frisbee round of flat bread that gets hard as it cools. It was fun! It was very messy for us, so have a roll of paper towels there or a stack of napkins-lots of ironing later lol
The very best? the Mango Lassi! Gorgeous jewel orange ! I could have drunk so many more. It is perfect if the food is too hot! Perfect anyway! I don't know what percentage fat is in the thick yogurt but who cares when it's that good! Everything was very well wrapped. The lassi was sideways and not a drop spilled. There were huge straws but no opening in the lids which are flat bottomed bowls.
Not sure what you do with the bowl.
Sure,a ton of plastic wrap and aluminum foil is used. I hope it's recyclable.
We really enjoyed these courses. I have only had curry with vegetables in a meat curry-they were awol-not great for me. I didn't recognize most of the dishes compared to the photos, so I can't indicate a thumb direction. Labels needed. We enjoyed it all and are going to have some watching Nor vs Por lol Cheers!
NB:At least it wasn't a Tim's delivery with the tray dripping wet. Door Dash does not like making refunds no matter if it's groceries (esp) or food. They red flag you &/or say they will get back to you after consideration! Into the ether and no refunds! Despite photos etc."
"Mango lassi was 10/10. Not too sweet, tasted like if a mishti doi was made into a lassi. SO GOOD. The biryani was filled to the brim, and so well priced! Super aromatic and GENEROUSLY spiced, it reminded me of home! "

"I have now ordered the lamb biryani twice in the last week. The first time was because I had a late night craving. The second was because I liked it so much the first time.
It is a generous portion for two (unless, like me, you hate to share treasures like lamb biryani). The lamb is very tender. Mix it up before you eat it because then you get all the flavour - tasty, not greasy.
This one comes with a boiled egg too, and at medium spicy it was the perfect level of spice for someone who has grown up with spicy food. If you are not used to spice, order mild because you can always add hot sauce."
"Horrible, lamb kadai was almost indigestible and the curry to roti ratio was more disproportionate than anything. As for the potato curry, although it was edible, I would not even feed it to my worst enemy. Not authentic Indian at all."

"Kalyug is one of my favorite restaurants in Canada. The food always reminds me of home, and honestly, I haven’t found a better taste anywhere else. The quality, flavor, and authenticity are outstanding. For me, Kalyug deserves a full 5-star rating.
I would just like to suggest a couple of small improvements. First, my order did not include disposable cutlery. It would be helpful if cutlery were included with takeout and delivery orders. Even if there is a small extra charge for it, I would not mind paying.
Second, the spicy sauce and the pickled onions (vinegar-marinated onions) were provided in very small quantities. These sides add a lot to the overall meal experience, and it would be great if a little more could be included, especially for regular customers.
Other than these minor suggestions, everything was excellent. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are satisfying, and the taste truly feels like home. I can honestly say that I haven’t had better Indian food anywhere else in Canada. Kalyug has earned my 5-star rating, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, home-style food"
"Overall the value for money was not there. Noodles were good, a quality item. Spring rolls felt like they were cheap frozen, just heated up and served. Green chutney while acceptable was simply too much in terms of quantity.
It seems as though the restaurant has its priorities set on wrong things."

"The momos were absolutely delicious, rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The texture was spot on and they felt fresh and well-prepared. "By far THE BEST VEGAN MOMOS in Toronto ever!! Highly Recommended!!
I'm Vegan and im very careful about my food choices.. and I have ordered multiple times from them.. their Chili Momo (8) and Kurkure Momo (8) are the yummiest ever!"
"The momos were delivered very fast, which was great but they were already room temperature the second I opened the boxes, which was odd since it's so hot outside and the delivery person had an insulated bag. The Butter Chicken Momo (8) I felt had a thicker doughy texture than what I like but the sauce and filling were tasty. I preferred the Chili Momo (8)a bit more but overall I wish they had been a lot warmer when they arrived. It sort of felt like they were pre-made earlier and sitting under a warmer until they were boxed up once I ordered, so they weren't as fresh as I'd like. The Mango Lassi was well packaged and didn't leak and it was delicious. "

"Rara Mutton was zesty and tasty but not so different than a typical mutton curry, not very unique but still a good dish. Fish Tawa was also delicious but a little salty and not like the picture shown. Picture shows fried fish steaks the dish is actually battered fish fillets fried in a tomato and onion gravy. The meat of both was thoroughly cooked and had a good umami taste, and the gravies were also delectable. Portions were also decent for their price and well packed. "We have decided that this is by far the best Indian food delivery we have had in Toronto. The generously-sized bhaji was crisp, not greasy, and full of onions . The butter chicken order contained a generous number of big pieces of chicken in a lovely sauce. The naan was big and beautiful. The mango lassi was large and very tasty. We have leftovers because there was so much gorgeous food."
"The quantity and quality of the food here is amazing! Have dined-in and ordered from here and both experiences have been pleasant.
Dinner for 2 can be had by 3-4 people it is an amazing deal. The Stuffed Kulcha Naan is very very filling and is fresh and soft. The Goan Fish Curry doesn't taste very authentic but is good on its own accord."

"The Samosa Chana was tasty, but the samosas in the sauce were soggy. Would much rather have had them on the side. I give it a 2/5.
The Lamb Vindaloo was tasty. I did have to add some hot sauce, because even though I ordered spicy, it was barely medium. 4/5"
"Amritsari kulcha was so soggy and so chewy all made up of flour couldnt feel any stuffing inside I even called and asked them to make it fresh and spicy but it was below average. Even the curd felt bitter."
