"The chicken chow mein was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The noodles had just the right texture, and the chicken was tender and well-seasoned. The momos were delicious too—juicy, tasty, and served with an amazing dipping sauce. The service was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. Definitely one of the best places to satisfy momo and chow mein cravings. Highly recommended!"
"Paneer Tikka Masala - Was tasty, paneer was soft. served with rice. however felt the quantity wasn't enough for the price.

"I did not have the self restraint to take nice pictures before digging into the food, it just smelled too great. Rara is my favourite restaurant in the Peninsula right now. I order from here for when I miss home food or when there's a range of spice tolerances to cater to. The food is so flavorful without much "heat". The Gorkhali Local Rooster Shorba Soup is my favourite. It reminds me of my grandmother's food and makes my eyes tear up with joy. "
"These are not the droids you're looking for. Possibly authentic but just not what I was expecting. The "buff" was so dried out and salty as to be inedible. The momos were good though, so those are a safe choice!"

"We loved it! The Gobi Manchurian has actual large crunchy cauliflower pieces. The momo are a generous size. Mango Lassi was thick and full of mango. And the Samosa were good too, a nice crispy dough that stayed crispy for a surprisingly long time."
"The Chicken Biryani was amazing. Great flavor! I got it spicy--which is spicier than you usually get in this area---so I will definitely get it again. But for the whole Bay Area, I'd say the spicy was more like medium spicy. The Dahi Puri was also really good! My only request would be for more of the green/brown sauces included in the to-go. So happy I found this place. Definitely order from here! "

"Definitely the best CHICKEN MOMO in the Bay Area but I could do with a thinner momo coating. As the momos cooled down, their coating started to dry up a bit and thicken. However, the momos were very juicy and had great umami. Their momo chutney is very good too! The only place that serves CHICKEN MOMO momos this good!"

"The chilli chicken momos were the standout: perfectly pan-seared, tossed in a spicy-tangy sauce with just the right amount of heat and char. The jhol momos were a close second steamed dumplings swimming in a warm, tangy, sesame-peanut broth that’s comforting and packed with flavor. The fried rice and chowmein were great sides too smoky wok hei flavor, not greasy, and loaded with veggies and just enough sauce to coat every bite without getting soggy.
Portions are generous for the price, and the staff is fast and friendly even with a line. If you’re craving something different from the usual taco truck or bao spot, this is the move.
Will absolutely be back next time going for the steamed momos too. Highly recommend for lunch or a quick dinner grab."
"I ordered Veg Jhol Momo and Paneer Fried Rice, and both dishes exceeded my expectations. The Paneer Fried Rice was generously filled with paneer and was not greasy. The Veg Jhol Momo were fresh and delightful. I will definitely order again and explore more dishes."

"It takes a lot to impress these days but wow! You can tell they care about the preparation of their food and the saag was perfect! The chicken in the Chicken Tikka Masala Ala Carte was grilled and soooo flavorful all the way through and TENDER!! I found a new favorite, will order again."
"Mango Lassi tastes diluted like they didn't put enough mango. Garlic Naan was dry and burnt. Paneer Tikka Masala Ala Carte was ok but didn't have any spice level option and the quantity is a bit disappointing for the money. Overall not authentic and there is much better Indian food for the money around here."

"I decided to try the Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Butter Chicken to see what my family would like best. We always order the Tikka Chicken Tikka Masala, and its still our favorite. However, the other two are delicious. CTM is the sweetest, the CK is the richest and least sweet (more savory), and the BC is right in the middle but not sweet. The Beef Samosa is delicious as always, but I tasted a raisin for the first time (not fond of raisins with savory meals, but it is still delicious). The beef samosas are spicy. The rice was very fresh and delicious, the restaurant was great, and followed all my 'asks,' written in my comments. The Kheer dessert and the Gulab Jamun mixed together are amazing. The kids loved their mango lassis. Success once again, we will definitely order again. Garlic Naan fantastic as well. "
"This is my go to place for Indian best Mixed Vegetable Curry! I love that is has so many hearty veggies, and is not too oily. Its delicious. They also always give you a naan and rice which is included! The Vegetable Samosa and Kheer is great too. Highly recommend! "

"Ordered Vijayawada Paneer Biryani. Taste was good but expected more quantity for the "Big" biryani which was only slightly more quantity than regular biryani at other places, hence felt it was somewhat pricey at $16"

"Wow, I've had a lot of Indian food but this place is so good! great food but also very well packaged. the Szechuan Egg Fried Rice is literally addicting, Bhel Puri is perfectly seasoned/flavored with perfect textures, South Indian Pani Puri(8) is delicious and well flavored, Masala Chai is comforting and masala is subtle not overpowering, and Rasmalai Pastry is so tasty and unique flavoring. highly recommend!"
"Nearly $6 for one sad looking Aloo Samosa is theft in broad daylight. Ordered thinking there will be two pieces in one plate like most other places. The photo is also misleading. Mid food overall but priced like a Tier 1 restaurant.

"Fresh, large portion, good spice level"
"Wow! This is a new late-night joint on DoorDash in the San Jose area, and I have to say I'm super impressed. Prices were really reasonable (for reference, the photos I've included are for half portions of each dish). Everything tasted very fresh, despite me ordering at the crack of dawn right before they closed.
The Vegetarian Soup tasted like a mix of all the veggies and spices they used during the day-- and I mean this in the best way possible. It's delicious in an unexplainable way.
The Veg Momo were excellent - not greasy, but they do have a bit of a kick (spicy). Nothing I found overwhelming or unpleasant, but just wanted to give a heads up.
Schezwan Fried Rice was also very good, not oily, nice spice level, lots of veggies in it.
I think what I liked best was that I felt great after eating the food; nothing felt heavy or greasy or artery-clogging-y. Oh and also they wrapped everything really well, which is always a plus.
Definitely will be ordering again!"

"Good every time! Don't miss out on the Jhol momos. Tandoori chicken is great as well. Quite different in taste from most other places but hit the spot every time. "
"I was charged a good amount of money for the order - especially the cost of the naan and the paneer. I had 4 pieces of naan for $8!! And that amount pictured of panner! That's ridiculous on two fronts. One down the audacity to charge the amount of money and give you that little paneer, second after eating that amount of food was still hungry, that was not nearly enough food for the price paid as a meal, it was like appetizer level quantities rather than entrée.
Flavor and quality were good.
Ideally, I'd like to be compensated for spending that much money and getting that little food for the two people it was supposed to feed and did not, and I'd like to see them increase their quantities so that people get value for their order orders because the food is really tasty."

"Garlic Naan was very tasty and large size as well, worth ordering to pair with their curries.
i recently ordered Dhaba Chicken which was amazing. This time I tried the Achari Chicken , I can now confirm their chicken non-veg entrees are among the better options in Bay area. I look forward to trying the mutton & seafood dishes in future."
"Sufi Kaju Chicken cashew based white gravy with methi is really nice, good flavor & different from the usual non veg entrees. I still prefer the Dhaba Chicken since I'm fond of spicy food, but highly recommend trying this once.
Butter Naan is decent, but I prefer the Garlic Naan which is great."

"I was not expecting the irani chai to be of such high quality, I hope they maintain it."
"The Paneer 65 Roll was flavorful and hearty. Crispy paneer pieces coated in a mildly spicy sauce, wrapped with fresh onions and a soft paratha — perfect balance of crunch, spice, and creaminess. You get that street-food vibe but in a cleaner, more consistent package.
The Irani Chai was the star for me — rich, creamy, and slightly sweet with a subtle hint of cardamom. It complemented the spicy roll perfectly and added that nostalgic café-style finish."

"Ordered Kadhi Pakora, Masala Poori, Aloo Masala, and Basmati Rice. All incredibly delicious. Love the Kadhi, lots of Pakoras, good portion, homestyle perfect for simple dinner at home. Masala Pooris are the best, always order those! "
"Samosa Chaat was not great, but pretty good. Not enough green chutney. Sev Poori was fantastic - just the right amount of everything. Vada Pav was pretty awful - vada was huge, didn't have proper besan coat, and came inside a burger bun instead of a pav. The bun was smeared with green and red chutneys instead of dry garlic chutney. Super weird, never had a sweet Vada Pav before, could not eat it. "

"Finding a needle in a haystack’ can be replaced with ‘finding chicken in the chicken biryani’ at Kongumadu. Unfortunately, the same was true of the fish curry. "Paneer Peri Peri Sandwich is spicy with flavored paneer, diced veggies and mint chutney in both layers. Paneer Masala Sandwich is on the lighter side with milder paneer in one layer, cheese and veggies on the other. Cucumber and tomato add to the fresh taste. Loved both"

"Star Chaat Cuisine is the place to go if you’re craving heavenly stuffed in Babhubali size Aloo Paratha with raita. I personally preferred the Aloo Paratha over the Paneer Paratha. I enjoyed the fresh, thick grated carrot boondi raita with it. I didn’t even bother with the pickle they gave me. To end my rich North Indian breakfast on a high note, I had some Ajwain Prantha with homemade chai."

LOVE THE Dal Makhani it the best in entire bay area. Spices are perfect"
"Consistently poor qualityfood. Mutton Goat Dum Biryani (Kachche Gosht ki Dum Biryani) has very little meat, mainly bones. Gongura Goat Curry was salty. This place has no consistency. Avoid Goat Dum Biryani (Kachche Gosht ki Dum Biryani) as no meat. "

"Very good meal overall, had some more spice than the typical fried Chicken Fried Rice (Non-Vegetarian). Good ratio of meat to rice/vegs as well. Butter Naan was good, moist and easily tearable. "
"Their Chicken 65 Biryani is hands down the best in the Bay Area—we’ve been ordering it almost every week for years. The portions are generous, and you truly get great value for your money. For vegetarians, the Paneer 65 Biryani is equally delicious and definitely worth tryin."

"Varam is a new Indian place, haven't tried in person, but just tried on Door dash for the first time. I ordered two Biryanis and loved them both! The Golconda Kofta Biryani is amazing! This biryani had minced goat koftas shaped around a hard boiled egg (think Scotch eggs, if you don't know what a kofta is). The kofta is pretty large and you get two kofte in the dish. The biryani was very flavorful and also spicy, and the minced goat was incredibly delicious and tender. Loved it, will definitely order again. The Potlam Chicken Biryani was also super delicious, it's an egg-wrapped biryani with spicy boneless chicken pieces. Also very good, the chicken was tender and juicy. Will be ordering both of these dishes again!"
"Ordered the MPLR (Boneless) Chicken Biryani again and loved it as usual. This is now my fave go-to Bay Area Biryani order. The quality is always consistently excellent, the biryani is always flavorful and fresh, the portion size is perfect, the amount of chicken vs. rice is well-balanced, and they give you a very good amount of chicken. This is what I order if I'm working late or don't want to cook at home. I am always happy and satisfied when I order this dish, and wouldn't change anything about it."

"The best Indian place... it's a hole in the wall Resturant... no frills. However, they serve best Chole Bhature in the Bay Area hands down. We used to like Chole Bhature from Dehliwala Chaat years back (which has gone down in value in the last few years).
The food here is also good spicy as in India and taste pretty close to Indian flavors. We have tried a lot of chicken and paneer dishes as well."
"Butter Chicken is pretty good however a little on the sweet side. Garlic Naan is super yummy and fresh and Palak Paneer is good as well. Everything was packaged extremely well which is nice for delivery... however the Mango Lassi was slightly disappointing for the price it came in a tiny cup which wasn't even full.. but like the rest it was packaged extremely well so that's a plus!"

"I'm new to this area, and have really been craving Butter Chicken. Biryani Junction has some really good butter chicken!! Big pieces of chicken, the sauce was on point! Spice level perfect! "Deliciously cooked items every time we ordered from Sri's kitchen. Tasty fried rice, sambar, rasam, vada, channa masala and all other items. They have a variety of al la carte items to order for our custom sizes, quantity and needs."
"This place was a rip off. I asked for 2 garlic naan breads and 1 butter naan bread and I got nasty rolled up wheat tortillas. Then the rice thali which looks like an abundance of food in the plate in photo, came in a salsa container. The 3 piece mirchi bajii was horrible. The lemonade was NOT lemonade . It tasted like a bunch of salt was poured in gelly water and I almost threwup. Rosemilk didnt taste good at all nor the badam milk. This was the wors t food I ever got. Food was not what was shown. Paid $50 plus shown in image. Would not purchase again"

"The papdis were crispy, good quality and not too oily. The portion size was good as an entree, I could even save my portion. The green chutney had more water than i'd have wanted but tasty. I would prefer a no sugar option for savory condiments like raita etc. especially when more folks are watching our sugar intake. The menu variety here is great. "

"44. Chicken Karahi was a 2.5/5. It had a lot of oil just dripping out but most importantly lacked any rich flavor to go along with it.
Tandoori paneer was a 2/5. The paneer had very little flavor again.
The good thing was that the order was fast but that doesn't compensate for the taste.
I would recommend looking at similar dishes from Mantra India from Mountain view to see how you can improve both your dishes. They are my favorite."
