Unfortunately, the soups arrived in a paper bag inside a plastic bag and had leaked so much that both containers were nearly empty. To make matters worse, the little soup that was left was surprisingly bland—a far cry from the bold flavor Maria’s usually delivers. "I ordered a large one topping pizza thinking I was going to eat some for dinner and enjoy the rest for lunch the next day. As I drove back home with said pizza, I found myself easily distracted from the smell of the pizza like a pie on a window seal. It's wonderful aroma calling to my nose like a siren calls to a sailor. Fortunately I was wearing my seatbelt as one should and made it back home safely. However the war was far from over. I had barely made it in the door before it took control of my body and I found myself thrusting slice after slice of deliciousness into my mouth. It wasn't until the pizza was halfway gone that I was able to "tap out" and refrigerate the remaining pizza for work the next day. That night I crawled into bed and assumed a fetal position wondering if I would be able to control myself the next day from the delicious onslaught that was known as... Giuseppe's Pizza."
