There isn't any spice in this. As someone like myself who does like a little kick I was a bit unsatisfied. "Five stars right off the bat. The bag had some real weight to it, everything smelled fragrant and fresh, the drinks looked phenomenal, and the presentation made a great first impression. I was immediately impressed by the portions and how substantial everything felt.
I opened the pho first and was a little disappointed by the amount of beef. I ordered the combo and expected more than just a couple small slivers, so for a minute I was leaning toward four stars.
But the pho itself was so freaking delicious. The broth was excellent, the portion was generous otherwise, and then I opened the other entrée and that more than made up for the beef situation. That meal was very substantial and much more generous with the meat.
Overall, the order absolutely earned five stars for me. The food was flavorful, well presented, generously portioned, and I would definitely order from here again.
My only note: if you want a lot of beef in the pho, add extra beef. Their pho seems reasonably priced compared with other places, so next time that’s exactly what I’ll do.
