"Great South Indian food - Ordered several times and we like the Chicken Biriyani, Indo Chinese Szechuan fried rice, Chicken 65 among other things. Some things have increased in price dramatically like Garlic Naan - It's almost 2X the price of most top competitors - so we buy North Indian else where now."
"No complaints on the food. Very authentic South Indian/ Chettinad style cuisine. The problem is the cost v/s. quantity of food. Very pricey and not enough food at all. I ordered the porotta combo w/ chicken curry and there was barely enough for 1 person for 1 time let alone leftovers. Lollipops are my favorite, but 16$ for 5 small pieces, not worth it imo. "

"The best Chicken Biryani I had in california.. authentic taste, great packaging. Not just the taste, but had the freshness in the food (which is rare to find). It is a must try for indian food lovers. "
"I haven't had such a bad Fried Rice and Chicken Manchurian in my life. Just because you ll give the option of Buy one get one free you cannot send such bad food. There were hardly any chicken pieces in the fried rice even after paying extra for it. If you do not know to cook plz don't sell this kind of food just for earning money.
Extremely disappointed!!!"

"Best indian restaurant in OC! All curries and breads are made to order and you can tell how fresh it is. I constantly am getting this to go because I constantly crave it. I get the Chicken Tikka Masala which has a lot of curry sauce to mix with the rice! Its delicious"
"It was worst indian food I ever had.
Chicken Tandoori was burnt.
Paneer Shahi was below average.
Garlic Naan usually come 2 as meal it was just one and doesn't justify the price.
Kheer was horrible. It was the same boiled rice in sweetened milk.
We end up ordering something else."

"Ordered at 6:30 and reached the hotel to pickup at 7:25. The order was not even started and we had to wait till 8:00 to get the order. Even when we got the order Vegetable Kothu Parotta was missing.
Poori Bhaji the quantity was more. We had 5 poori and potato. Potato was very average it was a bit bland.
Cheese Dosa was very thick but the taste was good. Vegetable Kothu Parotta was good and curd Yogurt Rice was good too. The food was made to order so it is fresh which is good but the time taken to get the order is totally unacceptable.
I would not order here again mainly due to the delay in service"

"Fish Tikka Masala was delicious! The fish pieces were soft & cooked perfectly, and the sauce was a great balance of creaminess with spices. The Garlic Naan was thin and flavorful. Everything was a huge portion which we loved. Overall a great meal"
"Paneer Tikka Masala is the best of the lot. Loved it super creamy and tasty. For both Dal and Chana Bhatura it would be better if they grind the vegetables (onion, tomatoes) into a puree so the curry tastes rich and creamy. It's a bit watery and chunky. Gulab jamun was perfect! I wish there were more pieces though."

"This is the best biryani I ever had. I got the Veg Biryani. The portion size is massive. It's at least 2-3 full meals worth. It doesn't have too much oil or salt. The heat level is perfect. There's even potatoes in here, which isn't always the case for vegetable biryani. "
"Unfortunately, my experience with this restaurant was disappointing. As someone who appreciates authentic Indian food, I was let down by the quality of the dishes I ordered.
First, the garlic naan bread was far from fresh. It tasted like it came from a bag of frozen bread from a discount store, lacking the warm, freshly made taste you expect. Even Trader Joe's frozen garlic naan tastes better.
The butter chicken was also underwhelming. Having enjoyed Indian cuisine from many places, I can confidently say this was one of the worst experiences I've had. The flavors were lacking, and the dish did not meet the standards of authentic Indian food.
Overall, this meal did not live up to my expectations and was a disappointment."

"Would order from here again in a heartbeat. Not overly pricy, which is rare for Indian. Vindaloo and Tika Masala were delicious. Just make sure you order rice. They do not come with rice on their own. Mulligatawni soup and aloo gobi were also awesome, though there were some pretty big chunks of ginger in the aloo gobi. The naan was tender and the veg pakoras were crispy and flavorful"
"It is tasty, and they don't skimp on the meat. However, they don't give rice (but the side of Plain Rice is large) and there is like zero spice to the Lamb Tikka Masala. But I'll for sure order again cause the lamb was so good and tender"

"Everything was so delicious as usual. Today we had butter chicken, palak paneer and the vegetable fried noodles. Of course we had plain basmati rice and plain naan. No ginger on the noodles. Rice was so perfectly cooked, hot & fresh. Butter chicken was so tender and cooked to perfection. Palak paneer was spiced perfectly and so much cheese! Finally. That was always my biggest frustration. All of it was good and so fresh. I just wish they would add the chutneys to DD as an option. Called the restaurant and wanted the green mint chutney and the tamarind and they said ok they would add to the order but only gotrhe green one. Too spicy for me but my daughter loved it. Overall, we love this place. "

"Everything I have ever had here has been delicious. Almost a decade ago, I put out a question about the best indian food in OC and it was unanimously Punjabi Tandoor. In the time I've been probably 50 times. And we have our favorites!
The Combo For Two is thee best. It's an incredible value and gets you some of everything. The Garlic Naan arrives so hit and garlicky. We adore the Vegetable Samosa (2pcs) - they aren't dry or crumbly or oily. Really flavorful. The Chicken Tikka Masala is some of the best I've ever had. My husband loves the josh rogan and gets it as spicy as he can. Mango Lassi is a big hit and everyone wants one. The Indian Tea is hot chai and really comforting. It's not sweetened so we can have it 100% to our liking. :)"
"Really great tikka masala, but the saag is bitter and flat-tasting, which is a bummer for such a gorgeously zesty and spiced dish. Also, I only received three small pieces of paneer."

"I just had the chicken curry, spice level, 4 out of 5 plus I added some more spice on top of it. The beautiful tandoori powder spice... The chicken was terrific with the 100. Garlic Naan ... i recommend this place highly.I've been coming here since 2007..."
"Definitely my favorite Indian restaurant, only issue I have its that since I ate the the first time there I don't like any other Indian restaurant. They are the best! Their sauces are smooth, thick and having bold flavors! Rice is fluffy. My favourite is Lamb malai. Prices are good too! "

"Nehari was not so good. It was a small container half filled with four pieces of beef and a little bit of gravy so maybe 10 ounce in a 16 ounce container for 20 bucks, not acceptable at all. I have had their Biryaniz and I like them, but not this"
"Bhindi was great and flavorful! It even had an achari twist to it?
However the Chicken Biryani was flavorless and on the dry side. It needs some spice.
The Veggie Samosas were just okay, too oily.
The Plain Naan was great, good combination of chewiness and crispness. Wheat Roti was just fine. "

"Best in town! The Samosa - 2 Pc is insanely delicious and very good sized and the Chicken Tikka Masala is my favorite (I love it with a side of their spiciest sauce). "Unbelievably outstanding. This was for an office lunch. We ordered multiple items including Korma Curry Samosa (Vegan) burrito, butter chicken, and other dishes. Everything came well packed although not labeled. The spice and flavor levels were out of this world. The samosas were the real star of the meal. The cold chai also was delicious. "The food was bland, $22 for an order of curry?!? - didn't make sense but I took a chance, and i def regretted it. The Daal Makhani was watery instead of nice and rich and dark, no flavor. The Tofu Masala was sweet rather a rich savory curry, and the Vegetable Samosa were $6 for 2 small pieces! I'm giving two stars because someone did like the Vegetable Biryani, and by like I mean they didn't hate it. Also, they got my order wrong and missed some of my items. "

"The Shrimp Biryani was very fragrant, rice was well cooked & packed with flavor. At first I thought it could use a bit more shrimp but you just have to dig around and you will find a good amount in it. The Garlic naan was good and well baked. Very happy with this meal and quality. "
"The flavor of the butter chicken sauce is really good, but the chicken quality seems poor. There was no rice included with the Butter Chicken, so I guess be sure to order that from here if you're expecting a normal dish. The Garlic naan flavor is good, but it's a little tough.
