"Absolutely love the kabobs bowl, my only complaint is when I order it with no Taziki you end up drowning the bowl.in hummus to make up for it, and I have to scrape out half the bowl just to get to the rice. Please , stop doing this. "
"The meat is amazing, rice is perfectly made. The hummus is a bit watery but taste is pretty good. The Tsaziki is perfect. Could have been a little more salad it was mostly rice under a tiny bit but maybe they were running low. There's an event near them today."

"I haven't had Greek food this great in a while. The lamb gyro's were so full with meat, delicious. The Falafel Plate was perfectly crisp a definite recommend. Baba ganouj plate was so creamy, the smoked paprika was a nice touch. Ive recently relocated to the area and will definitely be back. "
"The food is palatable but not great. The Veggie Maza Plate came with one very tiny pita. The falafel is dense, bland and boring, hummus is good, baba has good flavor but it's so chunky it's more like a chutney, not sure what happened there.
Lamb Gyro Wrap was palatable. We have had better but its was edible.
Would not order again. "

"I've lived in the neighborhood for almost two years and only just recently tried this spot out.

"I was going to add a picture but it was quite messy. This is hands down one of the best 1. Lamb Gyro I've ever had. It is absolutely delicious. The flavors blend perfectly together & the portion is absolutely insane. I would give this place 6 starts if I could!"
"27. Kafta Kabab Over Rice Plate: generous portion size, somewhat dry kafta, nonexistent salad(more like topping). "I never write reviews, but tried this place for the first time and had to write a review because it’s SO incredibly good!! We ordered the chicken shwarma, lamb gyro with fries, tabbouleh, and Greek salad - everything had so much flavor and the portion sizes were awesome! This will definitely be a regular spot for us!"
"Good flavor, tastes great, but definitely did not provide enough food for the price of the meal, especially when charging additional fees for lamb. I was provided roughly 3.5oz of meat and a huge servicing of rice. Very disappointing to pay so much and have the order delayed by 30 min. Portions of protein are far too small."

"Great place! The shawarma is very delicious — everything is fresh and well prepared. The meat is juicy, the vegetables are fresh, and the sauce complements the flavor perfectly without overpowering it. The portions are big and very satisfying. "The Lebanese Sesame Cheese Pizza is absolutely delightful! I had a long day setting up for a conference and just wanted a simple dinner in my hotel room. So, I decided to try the Lebanese Sesame Cheese Pizza and some hummus with their house made pita bread and I was amazed by how delicious everything was. I have plenty of leftovers that will probably be dinner tomorrow night, and I will probably be ordering this exact same order another time before I leave... plus every time I come back for work which is very frequently! I'll definitely try other things from this restaurant in the future, but every single item I ordered tonight was incredible!!!"

"Thoroughly enjoyed dinner. Pictured are the Chicken Kabob Rice Plate (GF) platter and the Falafel Mezza Platter (GF) nice that they separatedthe falafel from the rest. The falafel was tasty, not greasy and the accompanying pita, hummus and baba ganoush were flavorful with the right balance of spices. We also enjoyed the chicken kabobs with rice. The accompanying chickpea side was also good. The chicken was high quality and perfectly grilled, maybe a tad salty for my taste but I am particularly sensitive to salt. Everything arrived hot. Will definitely order from them again."
"When you order the chicken kebab mezze, it comes with dip for a party of four and pita for one. Stingy. Not impressed considering how pricy it is. Half the chicken was dry and too hard to chew, the other half was tender. Guessing I got some leftover chicken. It wasn't a huge portion, compared with other places. The seasoning for the chicken was lovely, though. Haven't tried the soup yet. Not sure if I'd o order from here again. Hummus was fine. Very basic- with tahini, not garlic. Tzatziki was not my fav, and I usually. Like it elsewhere. The babaganoush is really good.
For the price, send proper pita. That's my only real issue."

The Beet Salad "Svekolnik" is also so delicious.
Classic Cabbage Rolls (Old-Fashion) are very good, but a small portion for the price. When I saw the description was 3 rolls I didn't think they would be so small.

"Beyond stingy on meats on the Super Greek and the Cubano Grilled Cheese. Basically a salad with very little meat and the cubano has WAY more mustard than any sandwich should ever have. "Absolutely the best lamb Gyro ever! So big and filled with delicious fresh cucumber cubes , tomatoes, and lettuce in a bath of delicious tzatziki. And, of course, the lamb – – tender and just yummy.
And then there is the tobouli. A generous portion of beautiful parsley, tomatoes, a little bit of onion, and just enough lemon.
Maybe best of all is the customer service. if something goes awry ABBAS goes out of their way to make it right. I can't say enough great about the place.
Omgosh! Almost forgot the baklava. I'm eating a piece at the very moment I am writing this review. I thought I wasn't a fan of baklava, but as with so many other items on the ABBAS menu, I'm hooked. Yes you haven't been, try it. You'll be glad."

"The photo and description of the food gave the illusion that I was paying for meat on a bed of vegetables (a salad like in the photo). That was not the case at all. "This food was AMAZING. I've never had Turkish food before, and everything was so good. I surprised myself by ordering the BAKED SEA BREAM FISH, I'm not sure why but it just sounded good. and it was. so buttery and tender! rice pilaf was great too, packaged so you can customize how much pepper and onion you want to mix with the rice. the LAHMAJUN was so unexpected and tasty too. the relish mix (tomato onion lemon and seasoning) was great, though would have liked it even more if there was sour cream or yogurt with it. all in all, very worth the price!"
"The SHEPARD SALAD was so fresh and tasty. Big enough for two. The BEEF WRAP was a little tougher than I like. I think I prefer sliced gyro meat. Tortilla was fantastic and soft. 10/10 would order again. "

"Tangier is a constant go-to for me and has been for years. The Moroccan Chicken is one of my favorite dishes in Portland. I always grab the Meat Mezza Platter as well to get a different flavor of chicken.... as well as lamb, pita, humus, baba ganoush, tabouli, etc. Their Baba Ganoush is top-tier.... do not skip that part if you are a fan.
This place is one of the hidden gems of us Portland locals."
"The Veggie Grape Leaves was $15 for 4 in a huge case with a whole cup of runny tahini poured everywhere, it looked very unappetizing to begin with. The tahini wasn't good, the grape leaves were not inedible but for the price it's absolutely not worth it. The Lentil Soup was bland and a small portion for the price too. The Moroccan Chicken itself was pretty good, but the sauce was very greasy and the rice was bland. Not a good experience, very overpriced for what you get and it looked thrown together without care. Not coming back unfortunately. We'd been looking forward to trying it for a long time."

"The hummus here is so good! This is a really solid cart. Chicken over salad is my go-to, but the gyros are great. The saj is enormous, like a long sturdy tube of grilled goodness. The guys who run this cart are sweet, sturdy people. Items may seem like a couple bucks more, but it's more than worth it for the taste and quantity of food."
"The Chicken Shawarma Over Rice is the best in town. Always spiced just right and the rice is perfectly done. The hummus is first rate and the tatziki salad is delicious and fresh. Get a Baklava too, they're a great dessert. My favorite dinner place to order from."

The chef/owner is always super nice too :) love this spot!"

"Food tasted pretty good, not as flavorful as usual for similar food- but the price is high for the portion size. Pita is cheaper than other places but tiny and over $12 hummus does not come with any pita- it would take likely 2-3 pitas to be the size of other restaurants making it a like $8 pita side in reality."

"This was honestly divine! WOW!!! I can't say enough good things. I was wary about choosing the Tawook Wrap Combo (or even without the combo) because there were no pictures or direct reviews about this but WOW - am I glad I did! I'm not kidding. This is the best wrap/meal I've had in a LONG time.
The fries are actually **really** really good. It's a hit or miss on crinkly fries, in my opinion. This ones hit the mark - LEGIT. Crunchy on the outside, warm and smooth on the inside. OUTSTANDING. The sauce on top is really good too. It's more orange-ish/red than the other pics, not sure exactly what it is but it's GOOD. I think it might be mayo-based but it's not a typical 'ketchup-mayo' sauce.
Now onto the 'piece de resistance' - the Tawook Wrap is PHENOMENAL. The chicken is genuinely moist and cooked to PERFECTION. This is sooo good and DELICIOUS that I keep taking breaks from this review to go back to the meal and take bites (from the wrap *and* the fries) IT'S SOOO GOOOD - REALLY.
The part that's supposed to be "coleslaw" inside is really more like larger bits of lettuce and/or mayyybe cabbage. Not like thin slices of cabbage and carrot with a particular that we're used to here in the states but, again, GOOD, nonetheless.

"Everything from Kebab City Grill has been AMAZING! This will be the third night IN A ROW we will be ordering from them! The kebabs are absolutely delicious, juicy and so flavorful (our favorites are the beef and chicken, the beef Lula kabob is also very good), the mixed grill is FANTASTIC, the cucumber yogurt is cool and fresh, and my husband said the hummus is the best he's ever had. The egg rolls are unusual and addictive, the mint tea sweet and refreshing, and the mango cake is light and delicate, perfect for the ending of a big dinner.
Everything is so fresh and delicious, I can't say enough good things about this place. The portions are also HUGE, easily shareable or perfect for leftovers the next day. Absolutely, 100% give Kebab City Rill a try!"

"Massively Delicious. I had the Chicken Shawarma, French fries and Baklava.
Chicken Shawarma - was freakin flavorful and delicious, I dissociated while eating and was transported to Flavortown. The speed that I ate that is embarrassing but it was so worth it.
French fries - crispy and lightly seasoned. The garlic sauce that they come with is HEAVEN. The container is was too small though, I needed more garlic sauce. Omg it was so good.
Baklava - Baklava through doordash has been pretty hit or miss, mainly miss, but THIS Baklava BLEW ME AWAY. Picking it up out of it's little tiny pretty square tray, there was a micro honey pull that made me wish I was filming for youtube. It looked beautiful and amazing, like straight out of a food magazine type shiii. Then when I bit into it.... HOLY TOLEDO it was INCREDIBLE. Perfectly crispy and gooey and just mmmm. This might be the Best Baklava that I have ever had. Don't sleep on it, or do so there's more for me.
Overall great 5 star experience with the food quality and flavor, fantastic work. Thank you"

"Everything was so delicious! Loved the Mixed Dough which is a great sampler of their fried appetizers. The Lamb Cocktail is hummus with lamb pieces on top. The Grilled Chicken Breast Shish Tawook (I asked for no pickles which was followed) was so flavorful and came with a yummy garlic sauce. "
"Well.....The lamb and beef were both tender and delicious, as well as being enough for two. Unfortunately, the rest of my order was disappointing! the chicken wings which were supposedly deep fried, looked nothing like the gallery photo, and instead were yellow, undercooked and depressingly soggy. I will have to finish them in my air fryer, which is lame. There were only 3 whole wings total in this 14$ item, not enough for 2 unless it is a tasting menu. The rice and parsley salad that came with the Schwarma were only enough for one person also. The lebneh was enough for 2 people, but the mint that the description on the menu made it sound like was part of the item, was actually only a garnish and I had to tear the leaves off to get any of the mint. The pita was also disappointing- I recommend going to Barbur World Foods for their home made pita bread. And then there was the sad, tiny sized Baklava that was both crunchy and filled with granules of pistachios. The food was 85$ too much."
