"This location is close to my home but not in an obvious high traffic location. I found them today on Door Dash when searching for mediterranean food. Decided to give them a try. "I like trying new things, so i always go with Doordash and their recommendations. This one was ok but the entire experience just felt lackluster . I waited a full hour for the order--i dont know where the driver was but i think an hour to deliver is just unacceptable, When i opened the sandwich, it was not tightly packed and the contents just fell out in a heaping mess when taking a bite. It was just soggy and the pita bread was so wet because it had been a full hour since i got it. Shawarma's are designed to be eaten right away so this doesnt happen. The flavor was ok, it wasnt bad , but it didnt really blow me away like Georgie's did, The Toum butter was the same, it was just ok.
The Shawarma not being packed tight was an indication to me that it was not authentic . Having lived in Dubai for 5 years, i have had unforgettable Shawarma's on roadsides for rhe equivalent of a dollar . Spending $26 today just didnt feel worth it, Im sure they have a fanbase who feels otherwise and maybe i just had an off day experience, but all in all, it was just ok. Please pack the shawarma tighter so it doesnt make a mess all over the place."
