"my first visit to this restaurant and I was flabbergasted! it was great for the price! Taste was wonderful... I have to say best egg roll ever!"
"Food quality? Mediocre. Ordered two bowl combos, one sesame, one orange. When we went to grab our food, we realized that both bowls were the exact same, and we couldn't tell what the sauce tasted like. Zero sesame seeds, and not a hint of any orange flavoring.
As for the portion sizes, if you're going to charge out the wazoo for your food, at least give people enough food to make sure they're full.
The Bao was probably the best part of the entire meal, and I'm fairly certain they come frozen.
Don't waste your money, get literally anything else besides this place."

"The smoothie was fantastic and the toast was amazing. The packaging was terrible. I have ordered from other locations in the past and the drinks were placed in a box. The smoothies were placed in a bag that was too small for the drinks and then the toast was on the top tipped over. One of the smoothies spilled so everything was sticky. Minimally the toast should have been in its own bag. If they do not have drink holders I would recommend investing in them. I will 100% recommend the smoothies and toast but would give a zero for packaging and presentation (my toast was spilled over)."

"I've ordered from here a few times, and I think from now on, I will only go in person. (1) When you ask for chew mein as a topping, don't expect to get "3" of anything. I bet I had 15 pieces of crunchy noodles. I always get the same for 3 as for 1 serving. I asked for "2" of the water chestnuts (you can pick 8 items). I might have 2 partial water chestnuts in the entire container. Asked for "2" of the bamboo shoots- I have zero. My styrofoam to go container was about 1/3 full. Almost no meat in it. It's been not great at times, but this is by far the worst meal I've ever received. It's so weird that it tastes like nothing but celery and peppers... you can't tell there is anything else in it. Just- not good. I won't be dashing it again.
I did order the chicken strips and fries, and those were good, but definitely not enough ketchup in the little cup for everything.
The crab rangoons were good, but again- one cup of sauce for 7 rangoons? The cup is 2 tablespoons. Come on.
I feel like I got $7 worth of edible food for $50. :-("

"This place will wow you! The flavor, portions and price were all perfect. The General Tsao's Chicken is not as sweet and syrupy as you get at other places. It's also fried hard. Both of those were pluses for me. Most people can probably tolerate a 3 spice level. I prefer the 4. Every element of the Combination Fried Rice was well prepared. The beef was not that gray chewy stuff you get other places. It was beautifully seared and flavorful. The shrimp were larger than average and not overcooked. They were well seasoned too. Do yourself a favor and try this place."
"Best Chinese food in the metro! Was devastated when Shang Yuen switched ownership but so happy the family recipes live on through Heavenly! The beef is so tender! The chicken so crispy! "Sesame Chicken and Orange Chicken were exactly what I was craving. The chicken fried rice is enough food to last a couple meals. The crab rangoons are wonderful and on the garlicky side, which I love. Egg rolls are thick and filled with deliciousness. Egg drop soup has corn in it, which I also love!"
"Didn't get the rice that was suppose to come with the shrimp but it was very good best I've had so far, the pho was really good the best around this area they gave lots of everything some restaurants around here give such small portions and over pricing, cafe china you've got yourself a regular!!!! Thank you for this wonderful and tasty meal."

"This is my favorite Pho place in the city! Ive tried all of the Pho places that ive heard of in the Des Moines Area. Tonight I ordered a new dish to try the Beef in a Leaf/ Rice. It was very tasty, I was said I wasnt getting Pho but the restaurant included a small soup size of pho broth with my order so that made up for it! A must try!"
"The portions at Pho Viet are legit. You definitely won’t leave hungry. The pho bowls are packed, and there’s a good balance of noodles, meat, and broth. Honestly feels like you’re getting your money’s worth every time. Perfect if you’re super hungry—or want some leftovers for later."

"The 70. Honey Chicken was absolutely delicious! Hot, crispy, and the honey sauce was soo good with the pineapples, veggies and over the rice. Also included soup and an egg roll so it was a really good deal! Make sure you note which soup you want in the description box if you want soup with it as there's no option to select the soup. This was 10/10 for the value and flavor."
"Unfortunately the crab 5. Crab Rangoon (4) were really stale/ old tasting, the beef and 6. Broccoli Beefs beef was extremely tough and almost impossible to chew. The soups were fine I guess. Probably won't order again. Save yourself the 30+ dollars."

"The empress shrimp seems to be good at the restaurant but delivers soggy and the amount of thick breading on the shrimp is awful. Also there was three total pieces of broccoli in this serving.

"Steak was overcooked but still very tender and flavorful. Good Crab Rangoon if you like them on the sweeter side like I do. The miso soup didn't taste like miso. Not bad, just different. Iowa Roll was good quality for how little it cost. (D) Steak Bento was plenty of food. So happy there's a Japanese restaurant on the south side. I'll be ordering from here again!"

"Coconut Smoothie andGrilled Pork Spring Rolls were delicious! Fresh and full of flavor!"
"I've eaten from Dragon Pho before and I liked it. Tonight's Sesame Chicken was dry and bland. The Crab Rangoon (4) were fried weird? It looked like they tried to explode in the oil/fryer. And there was like at least 1/4 inch of oil in the bottom of the Crab Rangoon container. I'd rate tonight's meal a 1 of 5 stars. Not worth the money."

"I've been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened. Amazing flavors. Great portion sizes. So fresh. Soy garlic chicken Wings phenomenal. Mexican Korean Street Corn great flavor. Korean Cucumber Salad nice crunch and flavor. I'll tell all my friends about this place, and will order many times over."
"Having had Korean Fried Chicken in Seoul, Bonchon has knocked it out of the park! The Drumsticks were crispy, mouth watering spicy and oh so delicious. The Sotteok Sotteok was a perfect balance of sweet and spicy, and the glaze in the rice cakes just added to the experience. The Kimchi is mild enough for those that don't like a lot of spice bit still has plenty of flavor. Definitely will be ordering from Bonchon again!"

"Everything was absolutely amazing. I will definitely order again anytime I'm in town. I've had regular wonton soup but had never had Shrimp Wonton Soup and the flavor was savoringly delightful. 10/10"
"Speed of delivery, food temp, food packaging were all great but the food itself was terribly bland specifically the Pad See Ew. The egg rolls were nice and warm but had very little stuffing inside of it - it was mainly egg roll wrapper wrapped within itself. Highly dissatisfied. I ended up throwing most of it away in the garbage. "

"We tried several things, including the Rock Shrimp , Steak Teriyaki , Tofu Teriyaki , and the Chicken Katsu. Everything was so flavorful and crispy where it needed to be. It came with the right amount of sauces (on the side so nothing was soggy) for everything. The salads that came with the teriyaki bowls were nice and fresh. The fried rice was tasty as well. Doordash did great too. We were very happy with our meal and will definitely eat here again if we're ever in Des Moines again. "
"had ordered the Steak Teriyaki and the steak was overcooked, the Steamed Shrimp Dumplings were tiny!!! the Crab Rangoon were flaky but hardly no filling!! the Chicken Egg Roll was small but good. the Salmon Teriyaki bowl my daughter got was a tiny carp looking size of a filet. it was not worth what I paid, I won't order there again."
