It's been delicious usually but this time they left out the sides gave me a huge cup of some bland consommé as if they were rushing. Doordash support does nothing about it. "I was really disappointed with the carnitas. Barely any actual meat and mostly just chunks of fat. The texture was greasy and unappetizing, not the tender, meaty carnitas you’d expect.
On top of that, the tortilla was advertised or implied to be house-made, but it clearly wasn’t. It tasted exactly like a store-bought tortilla, with no freshness or homemade flavor at all.
The arroz con gandules was also a letdown. It was very bland, and the only flavor that came through was the cilantro topping. The rice itself lacked seasoning and depth.
Overall, this meal was not worth it. Between the mostly-fat carnitas, the store-bought–tasting tortilla, and the bland rice, the quality was disappointing. I wouldn’t order this again."
